We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there.
Contractually this role is London-based.
Contract: Permanent, either part time of 4 days (28 hours) per week or full time (35 hours per week) options available.

Job purpose:
To support the Journals Manager who oversees and manages the full journal development and delivery process. Key responsibilities:

Support journal editorial and production processes

Background to School Food Matters
School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.
Young Marketeers
This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 12 cities across England and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for three years. The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives. Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall. Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. And in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the mayor!
Key Tasks include:
· Recruit four schools to take part in Young Marketeers
· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project

The Association of Chairs (AoC) is looking to offer a 6-month, 3-day a week role, ideally suited to someone looking for a first job or to gain experience in the charity sector. The role will be an opportunity to learn about all the different aspects of running a small non-profit organisation, from putting on events and evaluating their impact, to producing a range of engaging communications and marketing our services to our members.
You will work as part of a friendly, small team to deliver and evaluate our training programme, produce digital content and reports and provide a high level of customer service. Full training will be provided on using AoC’s digital platforms and other aspects of the role as needed.

We work all year round to challenge homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and to promote equality and inclusivity for all. We are most known for our annual Pride festival but we also run a number of exciting projects throughout the year in areas relating to sport, sexual health and LGBTQ+ history.
We are looking for a Social Media & Content Creation officer to oversee Pride Cymru’s current social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). The role will involve planning, designing and creating high quality digital content, engaging with audiences and keeping up with social media trends.
This role will involve actively working with both our volunteer core team and our part time members of staff to ensure that all areas of our work are fully represented across our social media channels.

Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop.
