We have a fantastic opportunity for an Insight Manager to lead the delivery of Friends of the Earth’s organisational insight. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategic approach that shapes and informs our activity, enabling campaigning, income generation, and marketing activity to achieve maximum impact.
This is a hands-on leadership role. Therefore, strong analytical skills are required, along with the ability to manage a team of analysts and influence strategic direction at the leadership level. We’re looking for someone with a track record of success using data to inform strategic and tactical improvements in engagement activity.
Friends of the Earth has invested in strategic data management and reporting over the last few years, resulting in a modern self-service data reporting platform using PowerBI, supported by a data warehouse. We are nearing the launch of our new Microsoft Dynamics CRM, which will enable us to better track and coordinate all our activity and strive towards continuous improvement in our work.
Key Skills and Attributes:
The successful candidate will have a track record of success in using supporter/customer data to support offline and digital marketing segmentation and campaigns in a supporter/customer focused organisation.
You will be able to effectively lead an analytical team via proactive planning and prioritisation, with a focus on outcomes.
With excellent stakeholder management skills, you will have the ability to build strong working relationships and to influence and negotiate across the organisation and externally in a hybrid setting.
The team:
You will manage a small team of Analysts and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to further their impact through insight and reporting. Your team sits within the Income Generation Directorate, but the scope of your work is cross-organisational.

As Head of Development, you will:

- Manage and attend an annual series of fundraising events, from relaxed open days to formal receptions

Ideal skills and experience:

We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Administrator with experience and enthusiasm for community outreach to join a well-established and vital organisation. The Marketing & Communications Administrator reports to the Senior Manager – Children & Community and works in a team alongside the Community Development worker to build and enhance all of T&T’s work. The part-time role combines business and creativity to maintain Time & Talents’ voice and presence, connecting with local children, families, adults and older people in the Bermondsey and Rotherhithe areas – that is to say, all of our neighbours! What we do Time & Talents is a lively, busy community centre in the heart of Rotherhithe, London SE16. Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with children and families’ programmes and a range of volunteering projects.
The role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
• Maintain social media accounts, website, regular newsletters and promotional materials in close collaboration with programme teams
• Collaborate with management team to create effective, engaging reports to a range of funders and other stakeholders
• Lead on community fundraising initiatives with management team support
• Maintain a unified tone and thematic approach across all media and marketing platforms

We are seeking a Direct Marketing Officer to join this team to manage and deliver a series of high standard direct marketing campaigns across our Regular Giving programme. This individual will be recruiting, retaining and upgrading regular donors to generate income through a variety of direct marketing methods such as direct dialogue, DRTV, digital, and direct mail. They will be encouraging regular monthly gifts or support via one of our main products such as general Regular Giving and Sponsorship, our Lottery, Value Exchange programme and other methods of committed giving as they arise.
