Purpose of the role

The Production Manager plays a key role in delivering all aspects of the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations on time and within budget.
The role works closely with the Head of Technical, Production and Building services, Senior Producer, and Events team in scheduling, and delivering all technical and production services for all events and activities across their programme.
The Production Manager engages directly with creative teams, event clients, production companies and others, and leads their teams to use their expertise collaboratively and creatively to advise, support and deliver all technical and production services.

Responsibilities

PRODUCTION

• Efficient and quality realisation of all their productions, Co-Productions, visiting productions and events on time and within agreed budgets
• Collaborate with directors, creative artists and colleagues across the creative process to deliver their artistic vision, and ensure this positive collaborative culture is embedded across all production departments
• Lead their production team to deliver high quality production values across the range of the theatre’s work
• Work closely with creative teams to realise their vision and designs, on time and in budget, maximising the use of their resources to ensure high production standards are always upheld
• Ensure designers are briefed on in-house creative options, budgets, staffing, licensing and health and safety requirements
• Schedule and chair all relevant production and design meetings
• Oversee an accurate costing process to ensure all shows can be delivered on budget, using the time and personnel available
• Produce production schedules and manage the production period from fit up to press night

MANAGEMENT

• With the Head of Technical, Production and Building Services, line management of the production team including recruitment, appraisals, performance management and professional development in accordance with their policies

We want to make sure our tenants' home works for them; our aids and adaption service does just that by working with tenants who need their homes to be adapted to suit their needs. Join us as an Aids and Adaptations Officer and be part of the team supporting our tenants to live independently and comfortably in their home!

The Role

As an Aids and Adaptions Officer, you'll case manage aids and adaptations for new and existing tenants, from working with external services to secure access to medical assessments, to working with specialist teams to coordinate works and liaising with tenants throughout to ensure our tenants are provided with timely updates and their needs are met. You'll also oversee relocation cases, providing tailored housing advice and support to tenants requiring alternative accommodation. Utilising your communication skills and ability to build strong relationships, you'll liaise with internal teams and external services to ensure aids and adaption needs are met, driving a high level of tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

• Triage and respond to tenant enquiries related to aids and adaptations.
• Coordinating requests for aids and adaptations between internal teams and external agencies.
• Oversee relocation cases ensuring a smooth transition for tenants who require alternative accommodation.
• Develop and manage comprehensive reporting for aids and adaption cases.

Our ideal candidate? To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A good understanding of aids and adaptations that can ensure tenants can sustain a tenancy – experience of coordinating an aids and adaptations service is preferred.
• Excellent experience of customer focussed service delivery.
• A demonstrable tracker record of effective communication with a range of internal and external customers both individually and collectively.
• Practical IT skills with experience of using a range of Microsoft Office programmes and in-house systems.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering a widening participation careers project within defence and security. Building on the successful two year pilot, the project targets activities for young people and undergraduates including summer schools, internships and school and university presentations. The project aims to increase awareness, understanding and connection to defence and security data science careers from groups previously underrepresented in these roles. The project will involve working closely with the Turing’s Defence and Security Partners and other organisations to deliver a range of activities aimed at increasing the diversity of those taking up data science careers in the defence and security field.

Your Profile

The successful candidate will have experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. You will have prior experience of working with young people or undergraduates in an education based setting and strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation. Experience of delivering training or professional development sessions ideally to an audience of young people. You should have excellent negotiating, influencing and communication skills at all levels and possess the ability to handle matters of a sensitive/confidential nature in a professional manner.

Main Duties

• Manage the delivery of the Defence and Security Data Science Careers projects. This includes summer schools and career talks in locations across the UK and an undergraduate careers programme.
• Manage multiple stakeholders, including the Turing’s Defence and Security Partners and youth delivery partner(s) to ensure stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, pastoral and safeguarding support of participants. This will include under 18s and undergraduates.
• Line management of Widening Participation Officer and Casual Worker Facilitators
• Bring together colleagues from relevant departments in the Turing, especially from the Defence and Security programme, to oversee the creation of content and project topics for all programme elements, ensuring a vibrant curriculum.
• Manage communications for the project, working closely with the Communications team to develop suitable advertising and communications strategies.
• Lead evaluation including refinement of KPIs and reporting on the programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in a small but influential national charity building a positive legacy for the late Jo Cox MP. We are looking for someone to provide administrative support for the team. You’ll work to support our core operations, and you’ll also be involved with the administrative aspects of our Stronger Communities work. In the first instance, this will mean supporting the delivery of our lottery-funded project in West Yorkshire through which we’re creating a shared vision for Batley, Heckmondwike and Dewsbury.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations and Projects Officer will provide administrative support for the team. You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the Foundation, helping to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Within operations, you’ll provide administrative support on everything from finance and HR to fundraising and supporter care.

As a member of the Stronger Communities team, you’ll also provide support for our work building less lonely, better connected communities across the UK, where everyone feels that they belong. This begins with our current lottery-funded Bridging & Belonging project in Kirklees. You’ll act as the main administrator for the project, supporting the Community Group and Yorkshire Programme Manager to lead the work.

This will include setting up meetings, liaising with community venues and services, managing enquiries, answering questions directly and getting responses from colleagues where necessary. There will also be occasional on the ground community-facing work supporting the Bridging and Belonging community group at local events in North Kirklees.

We’re looking for someone who is engaged, positive, proactive and happy to work as part of a remote team. You’ll have good organisational, planning and problem-solving skills, and you’ll be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.

As you’ll be working on our projects in Yorkshire, you’ll have a core knowledge about the region, especially West Yorkshire. Ideally you’ll have a particular understanding of Kirklees and the different communities living there.
