In this key role, you’ll oversee a portfolio of fundraising events, with a primary focus on managing the TCS London Marathon. Key Responsibilities:

This role will see you help to shape and carry out RBL’s public affairs and campaigning activities at a national level, and to devise and deliver our political engagement events and campaigning work in Westminster.

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South West region in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire or Somerset. There will be occasional travel around the South West Region, and you will be required to travel for quarterly face to face team meetings.

The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the South West, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team of 10, which includes two Regional Casework Managers and a Regional Operations Manager.

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. We are recruiting for a Global Content Editor to join our HQ Communications Team based in Godalming in the UK (with some home-based working – currently 3 days a week).
About the role
Working closely with our campaigners and other teams, our Global Content Editor will ensure that editorial content on Compassion’s international website is engaging, impactful, and reaching the right audiences to help drive our mission to end factory farming. They will also write, edit and proofread longer texts produced to further our international campaigns and policy work, such as the powerful campaign reports we release, and write/edit copy for a range of channels including mainstream and social media. The successful candidate will also lead on improving SEO across our websites, rolling out shared content to our national websites, and developing and maintaining a writing style guide.

This post requires exceptional writing and editing skills with strong experience of producing high-quality copy for a diverse range of channels, including websites, annual reports, news stories, as well as social media content. We have a vacancy for a Mental Health Support Administrator to join our team.
Hertfordshire Mind Network is the largest charitable provider of mental health services in Hertfordshire, in terms of the number of people supported and range of services offered. We have a presence in all of the county's 10 districts, with established Wellbeing Centres across the county. Our services are available to all residents in Hertfordshire over the age of 18, and we offer dedicated services and outreach for 5-18 year olds. We provide services and support to approximately 10,000 people experiencing mental ill health each year.
Purpose of Post
As a Mental Health Support Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth process for people contacting Hertfordshire Mind (HMN) from initial contact to service provision and provide advice, information and emotional support to service users.
Key responsibilities
- To be the first point of contact and provide advice and information to HMN callers via telephone, email and in person
- To provide emotional support to people contacting HMN by telephone or in person who are experiencing emotional distress and to ensure smooth referrals into the Daylight service for clients who are in crisis and require short-term crisis resolution
- To complete and process referral forms, liaising with Service Users and colleagues
- To accurately record client information onto the database.
- To support the smooth running of the Wellbeing Centres
- To undertake admin duties for the Wellbeing Centre, including the distribution of mail, maintaining office supplies, and responding to internal/external e-mails
- To ensure the reception area is tidy and leaflet displays are replenished to include up to date information
- To maintain the notice boards with relevant and up to date information
- To work in line with standardised administrative systems across HMN, to maintain the general running and efficiency of the office and consistency with the other HMN offices
- To undertake training as required and to maintain policies and procedures
- To undertake other duties as may be reasonably determined by the Head of Services or CEO.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Delivery of Spear Programme
- As a coach you will support Spear centres in London and across the UK by preparing and coaching Spear Foundation group sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
- Quickly building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room.
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.
- You will be required to travel outside of London and potentially stay for a period of time at the centre. All business expenses will be covered during the working week.
Spear Centre Support
- You will form part of a central support team that enables Spear Centres to deliver high quality, high impact sessions to young people when one of their team is sick or the centre is short-staffed.
- You will be placed where the support is needed most, working peripatetically across centres. This could look like 2 months based in one centre or various weeks working across different centres both in London and across the UK.
Trainee recruitment
- Supporting Spear Centres to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme, through active face-to-face recruitment.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the Strategic Communications team. Sustrans has been working on a digital product to make the National Cycle Network (NCN) more accessible for disabled people across the UK.
As the Project Manager, you will oversee the second phase of developing this innovative digital product, working closely with out external digital agency, managing the development and test of the online tool to take it from beta to minimum viable product and the soft launch scheduled for the summer of 2025.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as internal colleagues and external digital partners to ensure all parties involved are regularly updated on the progress of the product, and work closely with the strategic communications team to plan for the soft launch of the product
This role may require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have ideally have experience of managing the development and roll out of digital products, as well as basic understanding of accessibility, UX and user testing.
You will also be experienced in effectively managing a project and budget ideally for a digital product, online application or website and the ability to build relationships with ease across a wide range of people.
