To work alongside the Donor Development & Legacies Lead (DDLL) to help develop MSF’s donor development strategy to increase the lifetime value (LTV) of MSF UK supporters, by enhancing their knowledge and understanding of humanitarian action and their awareness of the importance of their own support to MSF. We are looking for a new member to join our legacy and in-memory team, within its Individual Giving department. This role will help to manage and test legacy marketing campaigns with the aim to grow the size of the charity’s legacy Enquirer and Considerer base using various channels such as social media, direct mail and telemarketing. This role will also work on recruiting enquiries about the charity’s Pet Promise scheme and recruit new in-memory and tribute fund supporters. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, able to deliver campaigns on time and within budget. - Work with the Database Team to deliver end of campaign results analysis, ensuring reporting data is correct and highlight key observations and recommendations for future activity or further insight requirements.

The role

You will be responsible for leading across income streams with a focus on Corporate, regional major gift, trust and foundation and legacy fundraising activity.
You will be responsible for building relationships both externally and internally as well as providing an excellent level of service to supporters on behalf of the Trust, managing fundraising relationships and providing an exceptional level of stewardship.
About You
It is essential that you are experienced in fundraising and have led a fundraising team. You will have had experience across income streams and also be innovative in your approach to fundraising. You will have worked towards financial targets and also had good experience in analysing data.
This role is a hybrid role and will be based near Winchester a minimum of three days per week. You must be a car driver. Reports to: Senior Fundraiser
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time (up to 4 days), Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000

About the Role:
Working closely with the Senior Fundraiser, the successful candidate will develop and implement Katharine House Hospice's Legacy and In Memory strategies. You will be responsible for managing legacy and in memory campaigns, events, and communications, as well as building valuable relationships with supporters to increase legacy pledges and in-memory donations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement an engaging Legacy fundraising proposition to encourage supporters to consider leaving a legacy gift.
- Build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, fostering opportunities to convert leads into legacy pledges.
- Work alongside the Senior Fundraiser to develop and refine an effective In Memory strategy, monitoring and developing new fundraising opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to sensitively use stories and testimonials, enhancing fundraising messages.
- Act as a "gifts in wills" ambassador across the organisation, raising awareness with staff, volunteers, and Trustees.
- Manage online tribute pages, ensuring excellent supporter stewardship, and maintain donor records for future engagement.
- Oversee Katharine House Hospice's Heart of Memories sculpture as a community tribute, supporting donors through personalised recognition.
About You:
This role requires someone with experience in legacy or in-memory fundraising (other fundraising income streams will be considered), excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset. You will be able to connect meaningfully with supporters, manage multiple campaigns, and drive forward Katharine House Hospice's vision. You will be passionate about raising awareness, inspiring action, and growing future income to support the Hospice's life-changing work.
