In the role as a Digital Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital communications and presence. You will lead and manage digital projects, aligning them with Church Army’s mission and strategic goals.

Innovating and driving our digital strategy across various platforms you will be ensuring that we stay at the forefront of digital engagement enabling our fundraising efforts using the latest digital tools and methodologies.

Main Responsibilities 

• Oversee the Digital Project Manager and Social Media Officer, to enable effective delivery of digital projects and social media management.
• Manage Relationships with outsourced agencies including digital analysts, paid media and web developer roles to ensure cohesive digital strategies and execution.
• Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies that grow new Church Army audiences.
• Collaborating with other teams and individuals in Church Army to integrate agile methodologies, ensure alignment of digital initiatives and using informed data to grow brand awareness and affinity.
• Being a pioneer for AI and oversee Church Army’s strategy and implementation of AI.
• Being a primary source of contact for outsourced digital agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment with Church Army’s objectives.

About the role

Sightsavers are seeking for a Research Assistant to support our new Research and Evidence Uptake Strategy which identifies technological innovations as a new priority area. In the next strategic period, we aim to develop and implement strategies for digital enhancement of our research approaches and programmes to maximise the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of our work.

The Research Assistant will have an understanding of data and digital technology space and how to apply them in low- income countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. They will work alongside other members of the Research team to identify opportunities and develop and test digital solutions to enhance our programmes and research.  The immediate opportunities include digital support for inclusive education programmes in Kenya and Sierra Leone and neglected tropical disease programmes in Ghana and Mozambique. There will also be opportunities to be involved in research using traditional quantitative and qualitative methods, including health system assessments, surveys and focus group discussions.

As the successful candidate you will possess a postgraduate degree in data sciences, data management or other related fields, and have good knowledge and experience of working with data systems and platforms in Sub-Sharan Africa context, which is essential for this role.

• Understanding and experience of novel tools using statistics, mathematics, and machine learning approaches for data analysis.

Key responsibilities:

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Worker to join our team in the Camden Crisis Teams. We are looking for both full and part time staff, (working hours to be agreed, however, our service runs Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am-5pm), on a permanent contract. Reporting directly to the Connections Team Leader.

Your role will require you to provide one-to-one support for service users, setting personal goals with the service user for recovery, developing ways with the service user on how to keep well and identifying their own personal sources of support. This will involve work and travel within the Borough of Camden but will be based at in one of the Crisis Team offices either at Daleham Gardens or St Pancras Hospital. The post is a permanent contract with a starting salary between £24,500 - £31,500 pro rata depending on experience.

How will you make a difference?

You will work with the Peer Support Team and draw upon lived experience to assist service users to move forward positively.  Acting as a specialist resource to provide a unique perspective to service users. 

You will hold a small caseload to allow regular sessions to be held with the service user, maintaining confidential records, utilising VoiceAbility and NHS electronic records system.  Planning, implementation of and review of care packages, including parts of the individual care plan.
