Who will I be changing the lives of?
All of our learners have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and as a result all have some level of additional need. Some of the most common areas of need that we see are Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Autism (ASC), ADHD although we work with learners with a much broader range of needs.
We currently have projects in Rotherham, Barnsley, London and The Midlands.
Main Responsibilities
● To provide support for teaching staff in group teaching sessions, focusing on Maths, English, Occupational Studies and PSD and careers
● To deliver the NCFE Creative Crafts qualification for 1.5 hours per week with the addition of sufficient planning and preparation time
● To deliver one-to-one or two-to-one sessions with individual learners as and when it is required (on and off-site)
● You may be asked to run PSD/careers sessions with guidance, either on a one to one or group basis
● To offer support to all our young people, including those with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
● To assist teaching staff in the preparation of materials and programmes of work
● To support with planning and participating in Really NEET engagement activities
● To write Behaviour Support Plans for all students and keeping them updated
● To support students who wish to get their CSCS card and driving licence etc
● To support in finding work experience, employment and onward progression opportunities for students

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans to engage and empower schools and the local community of South Tyneside, to deliver school streets and identify ways in which their neighbourhoods can be made better places for all.
As the project officer, you will deliver activities in a variety of settings, including classrooms and assemblies, to develop children and young people's understanding of the benefits of active travel. About the role
The NextGen Community Producer will play an integral role at Youth Music shaping and developing our support for young adults, particularly helping them to close the gap between learning and earning in music.

Building on the foundations established in phase 1 between 2021-2024, your focus will be on increasing participation, and fostering a more cohesive and active community. Key responsibilities
Programme Development
- Act as the day-to-day lead and point of contact for the Youth Music NextGen Community, representing their voice internally and externally.
- Devise and implement a clear strategy for the continued growth and development of the NextGen Community, with support from the Engagement team.
- Deliver impactful programmes of activities and support that will progress young people into creative careers, broaden their networks, increase their confidence and create access to new opportunities.
- Develop and grow the NextGen Community brand and visual identity, ensuring a clear offer and user journey for those taking part in Youth Music funded projects, and other potential new members.
- Increase the role the community plays in designing and delivering the NextGen programme, aligning with Youth Music’s wider aims and values around youth voice.

Events
- Work with the events team to develop, grow and manage our programme of regular NextGen Community events across the country to bring the community together and showcase their talent.

- Lead on NextGen recruitment for NextGen Community Events and the Youth Music Awards, with support from the Engagement Coordinator. e.g. Create briefs for NextGen roles and be their main point of contact.
- Support recruitment for any other Youth Music or partner opportunities created for the NextGen Community. (e.g. gigs, festivals, activations, focus groups, etc).
- Develop the NextGen talent pool, finding new ways to promote and manage this.
- Create and source relevant national music-related opportunities for Youth Music’s ‘opportunities board’.
NextGen Fund
- Support the marketing and promotion of the NextGen Fund.
- Contribute and support NextGen Fund decision panels.
- Work with our Comms team to ensure that content created through the NextGen Fund is showcased on Youth Music’s social and digital channels. E.g. Sound of the Next Generation playlist.
Demonstrate Impact
- Work with the Insights Team to listen and act on feedback from the NextGen Community. This will be via monitoring, research and consultation that informs the ongoing development and design of the NextGen offer.
- Prepare and present reports on the plans, activities and impact of NextGen Community.
- Share our learning internally and externally at panels, conferences, and through written pieces.
Systems and processes
- Capture NextGen membership on Salesforce so that we have a clear understanding of who is in our community.
- Work with the Database Administrator to improve our systems, processes and user journeys.
- Work with the Comms and Marketing team to ensure the Youth Music website represents and serves the needs of the NextGen Community.
Other
- Ensure all activities are delivered in line with Youth Music’s values with inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility at their core.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Worker to join our team in the Camden Crisis Teams. We are looking for both full and part time staff, (working hours to be agreed, however, our service runs Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am-5pm), on a permanent contract. The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm. IDVAs work with their customers from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim.

The Role

Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups. We have supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.

- creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;

About the role
The London Library is planning a major, multi-year building project and is looking for a Senior Facilities Officer - Project Management to work within the Buildings and Facilities Management team to help support and deliver the project.
As part of a small, hands-on team, this new role will also support the Library’s maintenance and improvement programmes, arranging contractor works and providing liaison with colleagues across the Library. Programme Delivery

- Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and mapping of Mind BLMK’s current workforce training offer, helping to identify gaps in provision (e.g. through staff appraisals, supervisions etc.), evaluate alternative solutions and making recommendations for effective and impactful training pathways as needed for all staff and volunteers.
- Continue the ongoing audit of existing staff and volunteer training records and maintain the framework for storing and reviewing staff and volunteer training records.
- Monitor and develop if necessary the monitoring system that shows staff and volunteers are completing the training required for their role and taking action when gaps are identified.
- Manage the staff training inbox and coordinate the administrative aspects of the training cycle, such as scheduling, booking, invoicing, and reporting.
- Promote and support the value of volunteering within Mind BLMK and with external organisations.
- Continue to review and monitor all existing volunteer roles on an ongoing basis to ensure an effective volunteer contribution in line with contractual obligations where appropriate is maintained across all departments.
- Aide managers with procedures for designing volunteer roles, managing enquiries, applications, interviews, references, DBS checks and provide a supportive oversight of each candidate’s volunteering cycle.
- Support the induction of volunteers ensuring they are positively onboarded into Mind BLMK and understand the culture, values, and code of conduct.
- Ensure processes are in place for all volunteers to receive training and regular one to one support by the appropriate person.
- Facilitate and manage meetings with volunteers and project staff as appropriate.
- Be responsible for ensuring the volunteer database and administrative tasks, including monitoring, and recording in relation to these duties is kept up to date.
- Support the recruitment of volunteer trustees.

We are looking to recruit a Community Development Officer in Stirling, to engage key partners and stakeholders in the region tailoring support, training, and education to create suicide safer communities.
What you will do:
Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.
Proactively promote suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.
Equip a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training, and education.
Deliver training and awareness raising products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers, and other trainers.
Contribute to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the strategic plan.
Contribute to and promote campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Regional and Strategic Plans.
Represent the charity at events including conferences, panels, working groups and through media channels as required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops, or educational activities.
A proven track record of networking and building and managing effective relationships, tailoring the approach to meet the differing needs of the audience.
Experience as a qualified ASIST Trainer or willingness to gain qualification and experience.
Experience of using own initiative and creativity to develop a project, programme, or area of work.
The ability to travel to different locations across Scotland and the wider UK to attend meetings, events and deliver training.
Salary: £29,269 per annum (NALC SCP 18) progressing by increments to £32,076 per annum (NALC SCP 23)
