In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]
- Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme
- Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively; handling safeguarding
- Taking a lead on rating the work readiness of the trainees and making sure data is inputted and used correctly on salesforce
- Liaising with volunteers for key programme engagement events such as mock interviews and external panels. Leading on briefings and communications with these volunteers
Delivery of Spear Career [20%]
- Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees
Training the Graduate Coach [10%]
- Contributing towards the training and developing of the Graduate Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback
Trainee recruitment [10%]
- Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics
Continuous professional development
- Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and possibly supporting on leading internal training such as Grad Coach Training
Active participation in and support for church team and mission
- As the Spear programme is run in partnership with a local church partner, you will establish a strong personal connection with the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.

DFN Project SEARCH offer an evidence-based supported internship model which takes place entirely in the workplace. The programmes provide continuous support to young adults with a learning disability, and autistic people who are aged between 16 – 24 with an Education Health and Care Plan, or equivalent, in their final year of education.
You will be required to identify opportunities to develop and grow DFN Project SEARCH programmes across a geographical area with the aim of supporting the organisation to ensure that as many people as need it have access to DFN Project SEARCH programmes.

About the Role
As Learning and Development Administrator, you’ll be supporting the delivery of the Institute’s certificated and training programmes. This includes managing logistics for both online and in-person courses, providing support to learners and tutors, and helping to ensure a smooth learner journey from registration to certification.
You’ll be working closely with the Learning and Development Lead, tutors, and wider education colleagues to keep everything running like clockwork – whether that’s starting webinars, onboarding new students, raising POs, or updating content in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and facilitate training courses and webinars, including joining instructions and materials
- Act as the first point of contact for learner queries and tutor support
- Monitor forums and LMS activity, ensuring engagement and accuracy
- Raise POs, process invoices, and manage contracts for SMEs and trainers
- Ensure evaluations are collected and feedback is used for continuous improvement
- Maintain records and manage course logistics using LMS and CRM platforms
- Support internal collaboration and ensure content is accurate across channels
- Experience in an administrative role within an education or training setting
- Strong understanding of how LMS platforms are used to deliver learning
- Confident communicator who can support students and tutors alike
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and stay organised
- Experience working with SMEs, trainers or tutors is highly desirable
- Some exposure to learning content or curriculum is a bonus, but not essential

What you’ll be doing:
As a Training and Development Officer, you will be working directly with teachers and other education staff supporting their journeys in taking curriculum learning and play outside and to utilise their school grounds. You will deliver LtL’s training and projects within diverse communities across a significant geographical area. This role is part of our exciting new climate change education initiative. What you’ll need:
· Experience of delivering projects with diverse communities
· Experience of training and advising educational staff in primary or secondary schools.
· Experience of delivering outdoor nature-based and curriculum linked learning activities
· A passion for nature
· Experience of producing written materials; educational resources, reports, and similar project related communications
· Competent IT skills (particularly Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook)

About you and the role:
This role is an integral part of an ambitious programme to empower and train up the country’s school kitchen workforce through our School Chef Educator Programme, a hybrid course set over 10 weeks, including in-person sessions, webinars and self-guided e-learning on our learning platform. The programme has successfully trained over 130 school chefs nationwide, from London to Yorkshire, the West Midlands to Cornwall.
Our ultimate goal is that every school in the country has a person leading their kitchen who is a recognised food educator, playing a crucial role in shaping kids’ eating habits for life.
Your role will be to deliver the School Chef Educator Programme both in-person and online to school kitchen workforces across the country, helping to inspire them to achieve higher levels of knowledge and standards of food quality.
Supported by the Programme Manager, you will maintain and develop the online learning platform, design new and exciting training materials and learner experiences in order to maintain relevance and attract new customer bases across the school food sector.

Lead on the organisation and delivery of in-person and online training sessions to enrolled participants of the School Chef Educator Programme at a variety of locations

Assist in the maintenance of the online database of participants, schools and funder information

Manage, monitor and report learner progress to the Programme Manager

Maintain, update and develop relevant training materials to keep our programme up to date

Work with our evaluation team to monitor and survey the effectiveness of the training programme

Design and refine the delivery of the core modules within our training programme as well as additional resources to support organisational objectives

Lead on planning, scheduling and delivering programmes, in a time efficient and cost effective manor

Work with our Fundraising Team to keep them up to date with the latest progress on our training programmes, providing qualitative and quantitative evidence to share with charity funders

Attend monthly ‘Innovation’ days to develop recipes and other resources, and support the Transformation team with delivery when required

Support and work with the School Engagement Manager to ensure School Chef Educator Programme cohorts are filled

Assist in the delivery of events outside of the SCE programme, including membership meetings, fundraising events, networking and wider organisational events
Essential skills & experience include:
