A little bit about the role 

We seek a graduate with excellent communication skills for our Recruitment team. You must be able to manage data, multitask, and adapt to dynamic environments. Enhance Frontline’s social worker training selection process with autonomy and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The Recruitment team is responsible for sourcing, selecting and hiring for 500 places for Approach Social Work (previously known as the Frontline programme) in local authorities across England.

We think the internship at Frontline is unlike other internships. You’ll be given plenty of opportunity to develop key skills for your future career, while also holding a core role within the team. You will be joining us at our busiest time and so will have day to day coordinator responsibilities throughout the year. This makes it a great first step into your career as you’ll have real practical examples to take forward. You will work with the Selection Manager and Selection Officers to ensure the delivery of a highly effective and efficient recruitment process and to ensure the candidate experience is positive throughout.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Facilitate at Approach Social Work assessment centres, supporting assessors and sharing responsibility for ensuring days run smoothly and consistently​
• Manage the logistics involved in planning and delivering over 40 assessment centre days (e.g. responding to candidate queries, monitoring candidate sign up, scheduling assessors)​
• Act as first point of contact for candidates experiencing technical difficulties with IT systems used as part of selection process.

A little bit about you 

The role would suit a recent graduate with experience in event planning, logistics coordination, or customer service. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and excels at managing multiple tasks and priorities. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can support candidates through the selection process, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth operations at assessment centers.

We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. Part time (30 hours per week) permanent post

Salary in the range £20,064 to £24,522 per annum (£24,745 to £30,243 full time equivalent)

We have been at the forefront of adoption services for over 60 years, working with local authorities across the country.  With our outstanding rating with Ofsted, we work with a high degree of flexibility and innovation and with a range of adopters from all backgrounds and provide a range of Adoption Support services to families to support them on their adoption journey. 

We are delighted to have secured funding to set up and establish a robust impact and data collection process and database so that clear outcomes can be measured and collected for the different areas within our adoption support services. This is a new role and the postholder will play a key part in delivering on this work.

Working alongside Adoption Support colleagues, the Database Officer will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the database, ensuring data is kept up to date as well as inputting, monitoring and evaluating data and service user details.  They will also contribute to the collection of feedback and case studies from service users.

The Database Officer will produce comprehensive and tailored reports using both qualitative and quantitative data, derived from the new monitoring and evaluation system.  These evidence-based reports are produced for a variety of audiences and will contribute to evidencing the effectiveness of PACT’s adoption support services.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in an administrative support role, with database and/or data capture administration experience.  To succeed in this role, you will be proficient in producing reports from a database with a keen eye for accuracy and detail and have strong data analysis skills with an ability to derive meaningful insights.

About the role 

As our Employee Communications and Engagement Lead, you’ll be supporting more than 600 colleagues across England, Scotland, and Wales.

ENS is seeking a Communications Coordinator to play a key role in enabling ENS to fulfil its mission to break the cycle of statelessness in Europe and realise everyone’s right to a nationality.

This is a great opportunity to help us deliver our new Strategic Plan working at the forefront of one of the most pressing human rights issues. The successful candidate will coordinate ENS’s communications work and help raise awareness and galvanise our membership to end statelessness.

The European Network on Statelessness (ENS) is a civil society alliance of over 180 members in 40 countries, committed to breaking the cycle of statelessness in Europe and realising everyone’s right to a nationality. We are dedicated to raising awareness about statelessness, supporting legal and policy development, and building civil society’s capacity to act. At the heart of our work lies the understanding that stateless people and their communities should be leaders of change.

We are looking for someone with a solid track record in developing and promoting engaging content to affect change on hard-to-win issues. The candidate should also have practical knowledge of online communications tools - including Mailchimp or similar email platforms, website Content Management Systems, CRM, and social media management platforms.

Working under the supervision of the Head of Communications, Operations & Development, the postholder will work closely with key partners, members, and other ENS staff to increase the impact of our advocacy work by developing engaging content. They will also support our efforts to put people and communities affected by statelessness at the centre of our communications work.

The post’s day-to-day responsibilities will among other things involve coordinating a busy online website and email publishing schedule, managing social media, and publication design and publishing.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy communications environment. The candidate will be highly articulate in English (other languages are an asset) with experience of working with diverse communities and stakeholders.

The Role

The Membership Administrator plays a central role, working closely with the Member Events and Partnerships Manager, membership team and members. Policy and Communications Officer

Employer – Kids

Location – This is a remote position, but it is anticipated you will need to travel to London for meetings approximately once a fortnight.

Salary - £27,000

Hours – 12 month contract. 36 hours. Flexible hours can be discussed at interview.

Overview:

Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving social change for children with disabilities. As a Policy and Communication Officer, you will support the Kids’ social change programme by delivering clear, evidence-based policy and influencing objectives. You will collaborate across teams to ensure that the voices of disabled children, young people, and their families are central to our mission of systemic transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Writing and Content Production:

• Craft compelling policy briefings, solutions, and reports.
• Develop engaging, policy-based messaging for diverse audiences, including government officials and the public.
• Create a variety of communication assets such as presentations, speeches, consultation responses, and letters.
• Produce content for various channels and support the creation of content by colleagues and young people/parents.

Research:

• Conduct thorough research and gather evidence from internal and external sources to support policy initiatives.
• Centre the experiences and insights of disabled children, young people, and their families in policy solutions.
• Maintain a well-organised, evidence-based content bank for communications and policy work.
• Stay updated on SEND policy developments, analyse news, and generate responses.

Outreach and Engagement:

• Coordinate outreach efforts to government and key stakeholders.
• Manage the organisation’s policy voice on social media.
• Plan and pitch stories to journalists to promote our work.
• Handle reactive media tasks, including responding to press opportunities.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

• Oversee platforms to facilitate campaigning activities.
• Collaborate with marketing to engage parents, carers, and young people, expanding our audience.
• Assist the Head of Policy, Voice, and Influencing in executing strategies and plans.
• Support coalition and alliance efforts, coordinating meetings and fostering relationships.

Person Specification:

Experience: Proven experience in a policy, influencing, or communications role.

Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with experience in producing varied content for different audiences.

Research Skills: Strong research abilities to identify, evaluate, and analyse data supporting policy and communications.

Policy Development: Experience in policy development or using policy and evidence to influence outcomes.

Specialist Knowledge: Understanding of SEND issues and how to use social media to promote policy work.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre for a Senior Fundraising and Communications Manager to join our small but extremely dynamic team. Working closely with the CEO, you will play a significant part in shaping the future of My Sisters' House and helping to deliver financially sustainable life-changing services for women, by women. 

Purpose of the post
To lead the development of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector (VCSE) voice and influence in the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership. To support good population health and health inequality ambitions, specifically relating to healthy minds, children, young people and families and healthy communities.

To lead the development of valuable feedback loops between advocates and the VCSE sector, and to collaborate with the VCSA Insight and Impact Manager to produce insight reports that can be used to further influence system decisions.

To develop and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders operating at grassroots and strategic levels to ensure Health and Social Care services are being designed and commissioned with insight from the VCSE.

Background
This is an exciting new opportunity to develop a strategic approach to VCSE voice and influence across the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership to support good population health and health inequality ambitions, specifically relating to healthy minds, children young prole and families and healthy communities. These are three of the five priorities for our Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership.

Our Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership, in collaboration with Bradford Council and VCSE infrastructure support organisations, have commissioned a new transitional VCSE Activation Contract.

This contract will:

• Strengthen the Sector – through improving the capability of, and address weaknesses in, organisations that directly divert citizens from the statutory health and social care system.
• Activate the Voice and Influence of Citizens and the VCSE Sector to ensure insight and experience of diverse citizens and VCSE organisations inform and support activity which takes pressure off front line health and social care services.
• And will seek out the voices and insight of the most marginalised communities and those of the VCSE organisations that are working with and supporting those groups to achieve the outcome described above. This citizen voice is a key theme to how we make decisions across our place – Bradford District and Craven.

During this coming year we will work together as partners to focus on our shared ambition of people living ‘happy, healthy at home.’ Specifically, taking pressure off front health and care front line services, including children and young people’s services.

Special conditions
As part of this role, you will be required to work and travel across the Bradford District and Craven. While the VCS Alliance supports hybrid working, there is an expectation that you will be based at the office for at least two days per week.

We are looking for an accomplished Individual Giving and Legacy fundraiser to help develop, implement and lead our approach to growing unrestricted, long-term income in these areas.

You will work with the Senior Head of Individual Supporters and Events to design both the long-term strategy and short-term campaign plans for these fundraising streams, before taking ownership for implementing the plans on an ongoing basis so that we can inspire more people to support our work with young people.

You will lead a team of fundraisers to achieve the best possible results with existing and potential supporters – both in income and stewardship so we can start to realise the opportunity for growth in mass fundraising. This will include supporting your team in their work with other functions such as Supporter Care, Data, Finance, and our external Legacy administration agency, so that you can help ensure high quality data collection, analysis and performance reporting as well as compliance with relevant codes of fundraising practice.

We are particularly interested in people with excellent Legacy experience to fill this role so if you have a strong track record in managing Legacy programmes, including designing and implementing stewardship activities as well as proven experience in Individual Giving then we’d love to have you in our team to deliver campaigns which inspire people to become long-term supporters of The Trust.
