We are looking for someone who has passion for both business and data, ensuring that business systems, infrastructure and processes are functioning effectively and efficiently. You will be naturally curious and keen to encourage continuous improvement of systems.
Job Purpose: The role holder will ensure that business systems, infrastructure and processes are functioning as effectively and efficiently as possible. They will support colleagues to improve their knowledge and use Microsoft Office 365 (O365) and SharePoint/Teams and support with identifying new technologies that will enhance service delivery to YMCA customers.
To review and replace business systems as YMCA East Surrey enters the next phase of digital transformation of integration of systems, cloud telephony and a business intelligence tool. This role will be an integral part of the transformation and onboarding new systems.
Hours of work:Part time 28 hours per week. Working pattern will usually be between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Location: YMCA Sports and Community Centre, Princes Road, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 6JJ.
Annual leave:Five weeks plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time workers) Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of six weeks after six years’ service.(pro-rata for part time workers)
The holiday year runs from 1April to 31 March each year.

Main Responsibilities:
· Colleague support and triage of O365 and SharePoint issues.
· Train and support colleagues to maintain the SharePoint Intranet.
· Train and support superusers across the different O365 business systems
· Assist and lead the efficient delivery of ICT driven projects across the business through collaboration with internal and external partners/stakeholders.
· Lead on the specific project of procuring and rolling out a new VoIP system across the whole organisation.
· Assist in the analysis of existing systems, identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
· Working closely together with the Senior Management Team and our IT Support Provider to ensure the technical viability of solutions.
· Designing and overseeing test specifications and conducting rigorous testing before rolling out live systems
· Support the Senior Management Team to determine budgets and time frames for implementation of proposed solutions.
· Ensure system compliance with GDPR and follow the organisations Data Protection procedures relating to confidentiality.
· Ensuring that implementation IT projects remain within agreed-upon budgets and time frames.
· Identifying and managing IT risks and issues that impact business outcomes
· Training users and creating instruction manuals for new or improved O365 systems
· Researching and evaluating emerging technologies, including both hardware and software to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes.
· Support managers to measure levels and activities and outcomes by collating data from different systems to demonstrate effectiveness and impact across all service areas.
· Attend system user groups and share learning and best practice.
· Advise on IT solutions and software for the development of new sites and projects.
· Attend contract review meetings with IT Support Provider, to help the HoCS to monitor their performance and resolve and contractual issues that might arise
· Take responsibility for all IT hardware, to issue new equipment and to put in place arrangements for maintenance, repair and replacement where necessary and support maintenance of up-to-date asset register
· Take responsibility for drafting and reviewing relevant IT policies.
· Put in place the required systems and processes to achieve and maintain Cyber Essentials accreditation.
· Manage all relevant software licences including O365 licences.
· To produce monthly reports for senior management and to prepare proposals for new software where required.
· Use Office applications such as Forms and Power BI to produce tools to help managers collect data and monitor and report on performance.
· To undertake such other tasks as may be allocated from time to time within your capabilities by the HoCS and CEO.
· Any other duties are required to be performed within the grade and renumeration of the role. – this is mandatory

The Role: As the Refuge Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored emotional and practical support to women and children living in our refuge. You'll work closely with a small caseload of women, helping them rebuild their lives, navigate their support plans, and move towards independent living. Your work will range from providing safety advice and emotional support to practical assistance like securing move-on housing, advocating with other agencies, and coordinating resettlement support. You’ll also ensure the smooth operation of the refuge, maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. Using your excellent communication and relationship building skills you will be able to develop and maintain effective relationships with key trusts and grant making bodies in order to develop and sustain current relationships as well as progress and nurture new ones and secure more high level funding applications (£2 - £2.5k plus).
You’ll be proactive and self motivated, able to plan ahead and work to deadlines, using your attention to detail and current knowledge of regulations and fundraising best practise to be successful in your role. Your experience in writing tailored and high quality applications will be key and an asset to the team!
You'll bring your previous experience as a trust fundraiser to hit the ground running and pick up the current portfolio whilst also exploring and researching new avenues for trusts and grant application potential that will leverage a range of opportunities available.

Summary of the role:
As the Trust and Foundation Coordinator, you will support the International Programmes Department (IPD) by:
- Programme Development: Enhancing institutional funding to raise essential funds for Muslim Aid’s international humanitarian and development programmes through Trusts, Foundations, and Partner Offices.
- Quality Assurance: Assisting the MEAL Manager in developing and implementing effective MEAL systems to ensure quality service delivery across all programmes.

About the Role:
- Lead donor mapping process for Trusts and Foundations. Continuously, update this mapping document regularly based on engagement with prospective donors.
- Lead the proposal/concept development process for T&F and MA Partner offices submissions.
- Support the Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance Manager in managing a portfolio of institutional donor grants relationships and implement donor engagement strategies for prioritised donors (including FCDO, UN agencies, USAID, SIDA, START Network, etc.).
- Support the Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager to strengthen MEAL system globally. This includes ensuring high-quality data tracking progress, analysing data, and generating knowledge and documentation of best practices.
- Work with Country Offices, Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance, Humanitarian and Programme units to support on disaster responses and associated appeals.
- Support the unit in providing the development and implementing capacity development workshops for the IPD team, country offices, and partner offices either face to face or virtually.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level.
- Experience of successfully fundraising and dealing with institutional donors and international donors with a focus on Trusts and Foundations.
- Experience and understanding of monitoring and evaluation of programmes; using quantitative and qualitative research data collected in support of programme development.
- Significant experience and knowledge of effective budgetary control and grant management.

About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

About the roles: The Member Support Assistant is responsible for assisting our Volunteer Manager with administration relating to the support of the charity’s 4,000 members and volunteers. This includes offering a professional service to members of CAUK, typically via phone, email, online, chat, or on occasion in person. The role involves supporting the membership and volunteering processes, ensuring all admin is accurate and up to date. Over time the post-holder will be expected to build a good working knowledge of members and volunteers. The Events and Office Assistant is responsible for assisting the Charity Manager with the administration of events alongside some general office activities for the charity. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.
We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.
IKWRO also provides training for women and girls to help them understand their rights in the UK. In partnership with other organisations, we assist survivors of abuse with accessing English language classes and education, training and employment opportunities. In this new, impactful role, you will be responsible for mobilising and subsequently continuously improving a new network engagement and support function. The aim of the function is to significantly enhance the understanding the of needs, views and priorities of local Age UKs and the way in which the national organisation connects with, engages, and supports them.
Working collaboratively with local Age UKs and national teams, the Director of Network Engagement & Support will be responsible for developing and implementing a network engagement and support strategy. This includes driving forward changes that may include the type of support provided, the way in which it is delivered and how it is monitored and measured to ensure our approach is responsive, sustainable and supports the strategic objectives and operational needs of the network.
This will require collaborative working across a range of teams to ensure a coherent and coordinated approach. This role and team will engage directly with local Age UK leadership, be the owner of the organisational overview of the network and network interactions, ensuring risks and issues are appropriately managed and that there is an effective and transparent flow of information across the organisation and network including into formal governance mechanisms.
The Director of Network Engagement & Support will ensure the effective delivery and operation of several formal and informal network engagement activities, for example Chief Officer induction. Whilst taking responsibility for providing team strategic direction and management to achieve objectives, the role holder is also expected to be a visible and constructive participant within both the wider Age UK senior management team and the senior team of the Network division.

The Activity Service is an important part of our organisation, delivering high quality activities to the older people of Merton. Our Activity team create and deliver a wide range of activities including a daily lunch club, crafting, poetry, singing and exercises at our centre in Mitcham and other locations across the borough of Merton.
