The role
Starting between £55,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on experience

About you
You will be a senior HR practitioner, qualified to CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience), and have a proven track-record at leading a high-performing HR team. We are looking for someone who has had experience of advising and delivering on organisational-wide HR change management initiatives, can work effectively to project deadlines, and will successfully balance the needs of employees with the operational and ambitious needs of the charity.

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail.
We have a hybrid approach to the way we work. Our Senior Executive Team meet with our Senior Leadership Team twice a month on a Monday. These meetings are face to face. One is in central London and one is at our Hatfield office. In addition, you will be required to attend at least four face to face organisational All Staff Together days which are predominantly in Hatfield, one directorate meeting a month in Hatfield, as well as attending the Hatfield office with the rest of the HR team one day a week. One to one’s will be face to face with direct line reports and your line manager once a quarter.

As an IT Service Local Delivery Analyst you'll be providing local IT systems support, training and advice to SNG colleagues and will be responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of the organisation's devices, infrastructure and applications.
You'll ensure that our IT support tickets are resolved as efficiently and effectively as possible. What we need from you:
As an IT Service Local Delivery Analyst you'll need to have a high level of customer focus and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies.
You will need experience of working on an IT Service Desk or in a Technical team and be able to communicate with our customers in person, by telephone, webchat email or digital assistant.
A Service Desk/Customer Service oriented certificate such as ITIL v3 or v4 Practitioner would be an advantage.

The ideal People Partner will be a qualified HR professional (Associate CIPD or above). You will have substantial HR business partnering experience and the skills to support the smooth and effective management of the HR function.
You will work closely with the HR Director and other members of the HR team to provide guidance and support to managers through the full employee lifecycle.

Our client is the UK’s national LGBTQ+ Youth Homelessness charity. Their mission is to ensure that every LGBTQ+ young person facing or at risk of homelessness or a hostile environment has somewhere safe to stay, and work with over 800 vulnerable young people a year providing both face to face and online support. They are now recruiting a dedicated Supported Housing Manager to oversee the opening of a brand new LGBTQ+ service based in Lambeth.
Reporting to the Director of Services, as Supported Housing Manager you will have responsibility for the opening and day to day management of a new six unit LGBTQ+ housing scheme, working to create a safe, welcoming and psychologically-informed home environment for all beneficiaries. As Supported Housing Manager you will oversee a small, committed team of frontline staff, and will work to ensure that the support delivered is person-centered, holistic and to the highest quality. Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will ensure that team members fulfil their duties in safeguarding children and young people in line with company policies, and will work in partnership with a range of agencies to achieve best possible outcomes for all service users. You will also provide training to professionals and support to LGBTQ+ people, ensuring that professionals are working in an LGBTQ+ informed and inclusive way.

Overview of the Head of Campaigns role and the team
Barnabas Aid is seeking a dynamic and strategic individual for the role of Head of Campaigns, a critical position within our International Outreach Department. The post-holder will lead the development and delivery of impactful campaigns, aimed at raising awareness, prayer, and vital donations for the charity’s work with persecuted Christians worldwide. The Head of Campaigns will be responsible for key initiatives such as the Barnabas Brekkie/Breakfast campaign, as well as major supporter events like Encourage. In addition, they will focus on key fundraising activities, ensuring high levels of supporter acquisition, engagement, and retention.
This is a new and exciting role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to shape the future of Barnabas Aid's fundraising and supporter relations strategy. The role requires close collaboration with the Head of Communications, the Philanthropy Manager, and the Living Streams Officer, and will involve working alongside the National Directors of our Regional Offices around the world to ensure campaign strategies are effectively adapted to local contexts.

About the role
We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our UK growth and expand our client and partner base. Reporting directly to the CEO, (initially) you will lead our sales strategy targeting UK businesses, with a particular focus on small and medium businesses, and public sector organisations.

About the role

You will coordinate a fortnightly referral only food bank in partnership with St Peter’s Church in Lee; secure gifts in kind, manage the distribution of small grants, and work together with our Casework team and partner Immigration Solicitor to support people to engage in the complex process of improving their circumstances. You will supervise volunteers and lead on professional relationships for AFRIL’s destitution work, including influencing local policy. We are a friendly and supportive team and the existing postholder is moving internally so you will have a thorough handover period.

Small grants for essential items and cash payments for food in emergencies. Securing and distributing gifts in kind, e.g. winter coats, laptops and data.

Allotment of Refuge - a welcoming community of food growers that supports improved health, wellbeing and integration of members, whilst protecting the local environment.

Immigration Project in partnership with Southwark Law Centre, providing free legal advice and representation to support people to regularise their immigration status.
