As Team Administrator for the Children and Young People’s Engagement Team, you will be responsible for providing vital administrative support to a dynamic team working with children, young people and parents all over the UK.
The Team Administrator will provide administrative or logistical support to different team projects, working groups, committees, events or activities. This will also include supporting the finance functions for the Team and managing purchase orders, invoices and expenses and supporting the project teams by drafting and preparing documents. In addition you will ensure all phone and email queries are answered, using clinical experts and team colleagues for advice if necessary.
You will also be responsible for planning, coordinating and communicating online/face to face project or programme meetings and activities with the support of the project managers, coordinator and youth voice advisors.
Reporting to the Head of Children, Young People & Engagement, this is a varied role in which you will have the opportunity to support the work of different engagement projects through assisting and disseminating project reports, joining sessions with children and young people across the year, and the managing of project materials.
Educated to a good standard you should have extensive administrative experience or skills and have well-developed experience and knowledge of Microsoft applications along with proven proof reading and minute taking abilities.
With demonstrable interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, you should have the ability to coordinate several projects concurrently whilst having excellent report writing skills, being able to present information in a fluent and persuasive manner to people at a range of levels.
Experience of problem solving, identifying solutions and setting up new systems or mitigations in relation to complex and dynamic administrative activities is essential.
Knowledge of website maintenance and social media experience would be desirable, as would a background of working in direct delivery teams, supporting those who work with children and young people.
The Administrator role offers the opportunity to work closely with those in the field of child and youth engagement, youth volunteering and children’s rights. In this role you will start to gain knowledge of children’s rights and what matters to children and young people within child health by actively participating in the Children and Young People’s Engagement Team’s programme of activities, helping us achieve our aims.
There will be occasional evening and weekend sessions/events throughout the year where you will also be required to attend to support the event.
The Children and Young People’s Engagement Team undertakes a varied programme of work in supporting under 25s, parents and carers to get actively involved in the work of RCPCH, using youth work and social action approaches.

Voluntary Action Harrow is looking for a Health & Social Inequalities Co-ordinator and Trainer to work within our Stronger Communities Team.
Stronger Communities aims to remove barriers to accessing healthcare, increase community engagement and co-production, and reduce health inequalities in the borough of Harrow. This role involves developing and delivering a comprehensive portfolio of training sessions focused on Health and Social Inequalities, including Make Every Contact Count (MECC).
Responsibilities
- Develop a portfolio of training sessions covering a range of topics, particularly related to Health & Social Inequalities (including Make Every Contact Count (MECC)).
- Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure training content stays accurate
- Build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including residents, voluntary, community and faith sector organisations, social enterprises, local NHS services, and statutory sector partners

Are you our new Digital Communications Officer?
We are looking for a creative social media native who is comfortable not only with presenting UWC to different audiences but also collaborating and supporting our different stakeholders in doing so. You will join the Communications and Engagement Team at the UWC International Office (UWCIO) which consists of six people and report to the Digital Communications Manager.
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will create, develop and deliver content across all UWC International’s social media channels in line with our social media strategy and lead on sourcing or creating the relevant, required reporting to demonstrate engagement and impact. You will also support UWC’s truly global network of volunteers through digital resources, templates and training. Part of the larger Advancement Team at UWC International, the Communications and Engagement Team provides the UWC movement with strategic leadership, support and advice in the area of internal and external communication, PR, promotion, marketing, crisis communications, alumni and wider community engagement, and partnerships with other organisations. The Team has a coordination and support function for teams across the UWC International Office, as well as other UWC stakeholders globally, such as UWC schools, colleges, national committees and governance bodies. Alongside your business-as-usual tasks, you will support the Digital Communications Manager in coordinating with the advancement and admissions teams at each of the 18 UWC schools to run ad-hoc campaigns and manage external stakeholders and partners.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take up a fixed-term role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Kennington. Eligibility for the role

The Vacancy
The Programme Development Manager is committed to supporting colleagues and partners in programme design and development. The team also connects programmatic issues and global policy and advocacy to ensure they are complementary and conducive to external change based on evidence from the ground.
Saferworld’s income is secured primarily from statutory and institutional donors; however, securing funding to support our partners in conflict-affected countries and allow for more flexible programming increasingly requires a more diverse funding base. The Programme Development Manager will support efforts to identify and secure funds from statutory donors, trusts and foundations, and other non-traditional funding mechanisms.
The Programme Development Manager will support a portfolio of Saferworld’s teams in designing and mobilising funding for peace, security and justice programmes. The successful applicant will have a focus of approximately 4 countries, which will be decided based on the candidate’s experience and preference. Working closely with Country Managers/Directors, and programme and grant management colleagues, the post-holder will lead on: coordinating and facilitating programme development processes (including taking the lead in drafting high quality concept notes and proposals, theories of change, logical models, risk matrixes and budgets); developing and supporting the implementation of long-term country funding strategies and donor engagement strategies; and supporting new donor engagement and sustaining relationships with current donors. The post-holder will be responsible for growing institutional funding portfolios in our programmes.
The post-holder will have a successful track record in developing programmes and leading new business development efforts with institutional donors such as the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), United States Government (USG)/United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the European Union (EU), UN agencies and European Governments such as Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). Additional experience in mobilising resource from trusts and foundations and other non-traditional funding mechanisms is desirable.

We are looking for energetic and organised individuals to support and deliver our community engagement activities for urban forest projects and initiatives. This involves planning, delivering, and reporting back on community consultations, educational workshops, public tree planting events and other activities.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The role is public facing, so we are looking for confident and adaptable communicators who are comfortable engaging residents in a range of communities, schools, and interest groups, and who are passionate about trees, and the environment.
We are seeking individuals who are happy to work hands-on, outdoors in all weathers at a variety of locations, and over some weekends, with TOIL (time off in lieu), as well as being comfortable working indoors in an office environment. We want practical and organised people capable of coordinating event logistics and are keen to support everything from small scale workshops to public community events.

Job Summary
This role is an expansion of our employment pathway and will be our first dedicated employment coach for our students.
PiP has developed a unique reputation for our experience and quality of employment support for adults with learning disabilities. This has led to an increased number of referrals with a focus on employment, an expansion of our in-house social enterprise capacity, and more employers keen to work alongside us to diversify their staff base.
PiP is keen to respond to and meet this demand. This role for us is the next step in doing so, allowing us to increase our job coaching capacity and providing more dedicated resource for students on their employment journey. As to date our coaching has been delivered across our existing staff team.

What You’ll Need
- Working with people with learning disabilities, or a similar client group

What We Offer:
· The salary for this role is circa £29,500 dependent on experience with incremental pay progression.
You'll get 25 days holiday + bank holidays ever year. We're closed for Christmas but the rest of the year you may take leave whenever you wish.
· An extra day of annual leave for each year you've worked with us up to another 5 (30 in total)

We are recruiting a General Advice Officer to support with the delivery of advice and welfare support to guests who access Sufra’s Food Bank, Community Kitchen and the Community Wellbeing Project. The General Advice Officer will support our guests on a range of areas including benefits, immigration, housing, wellbeing, money management and access to training and employment services.
