About the Role

In brief, this role involves being the first point of contact for any IT related issues at Sunbury Court, in terms of reported issues from Presenters, Delegates, Customers or Staff. In this exciting role you will be responsible for implementing the charity’s Individual Giving, Legacy and In Memory fundraising programmes (target of £1.3m in 2024). Role purpose
To engage with kidney patients, their families, and carers as a source of information, support, and advocacy, in order to improve care and wellbeing outcomes for patients. The role will cover the main renal unit and satellite dialysis units across your designated area, and regular travel and attendance is expected across all sites.

You will be expected to deliver Kidney Care UK’s Patient Support & Advocacy Service across the region, raise awareness of the service and the charity and build strong relationships with kidney patients, professionals and other kidney stakeholder groups in the region.

Responsibilities

• With support, establish the Kidney Care UK Patient Support & Advocacy Service in the region so patients, their families, carers and professionals to access independent support on social, financial, health advocacy and wellbeing
• Be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Patient Support & Advocacy Service across the region and the effective management of a caseload. Role Requirements

• Support planning and changes in the administration of children and young people’s timetable for children and family services.
• Support with photocopying of notes for subject access/ solicitor requests (SARS).
• Manage the SARS and redacting process with appropriate members of the Therapies teams.
• Update logs and coordinate the Clinical and Safeguarding Supervision across the Therapies teams, escalating non-compliance where required.
• Monitor mandatory training compliance and administer booking processes for all relevant training sessions/course.
• Coordinating specialist clinics, including spine and hip clinics; liaising with the Physiotherapy team to ensure the correct children are on the schedule. Liaison with external Consultants to organise the clinic lists.
• Carry out audiotyping of clinic letters and distribute as required.
• Update absences within the teams onto the SMI (staff care) system, as requested by the Heads of Service.
• Place orders for any required equipment and/or resources for departments and for the children and young people as deemed necessary.
• Take overview of clinical asset ordering, linking with the clinical assets team and management system, in line with MHRA guidelines and the medical devices policy.
• Track and monitor equipment orders with Heads of service, escalate delays and provide a central overview for all equipment re-charges and ordering.
• Raise and receipt PO’s and invoices for the therapies directorate and liaise closely with the finance team.
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. Qualifications

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Designing and implementing policies and practices which put environmental sustainability at the forefront of our business operations; championing environmental sustainability practices across the organisation
• Identifying and delivering business-wide operations efficiencies by refining existing, and establishing new, business policies and processes
• Overseeing the day-to-day management of the office ensuring it is an efficient, safe and pleasant working environment for staff and visitors; liaising with the building management company and the IT service provider; troubleshooting or escalating IT and building-related issues as they arise
• Managing external service provider contracts, including procuring and negotiating new contracts where required
• Ensuring a first-class customer service experience for those contacting the charity
• Line management of two members of staff.

Role Purpose

To support the development of high quality, trustworthy, current and effective information resources for the lupus community. This role plays an important part in our work to empower people living with lupus and supporting families and carers impacted by a diagnosis of lupus.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery

• Help to review, update and co-develop health information content for the lupus community in line with our schedule, maintaining a high standard of evidence-based information production, following appropriate criteria for accreditation by professional organisations. This could include support with research, liaising with external experts for input and review, copy writing, proof reading and production (including design).
• Work with colleagues, healthcare professionals and people with lived experience of lupus to codevelop high quality information resources.
• Communicate health-related updates, such as website articles on changes to access to vaccinations.
• Respond to emailed queries related to lupus and related conditions, health system access, treatments, etc.
• Support with co-ordinating the production of the charity’s magazine 3 times a year.

Women V Cancer is a unique partnership between Dream Challenges, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. Together, we have raised more than £20 million in fundraising across a portfolio of one day mass participation cycling events and overseas multi-day cycling challenges.

The partnership has big aspirations for growth and is looking for someone to join as a Fundraising and Partnerships Officer with key responsibilities in relationship management across the partners, reporting and analysis, events marketing, and participant stewardship.

The right candidate will be a self-driven and experienced fundraiser, whose knowledge of marketing strategies in fundraising and events, alongside an impactful supporter journey, can enable the development and growth of this long-standing partnership. You will have experience of the charity sector, event delivery, and social media marketing.

Key Areas 

Marketing and stewardship

• Increase participant numbers on events through comprehensive and diverse marketing campaigns.
• Assist in digital advertising of events including creations of social media campaigns and PPC.
• Assisting in maintenance and digital creation on the branded WVC microsite.
• Develop the partnerships first user-generated video content campaigns, and influencer campaigners, alongside the group Digital Marketing Manager.
• Assist with automated journeys from lead generation marketing.
• Assist with social media channels and assist in creating social media marketing.
• Create and send email marketing campaigns.
• Deliver stewardship journeys of registered participants on events.
• Increase the average fundraising raised per participant.

Relationship management

• Build strong relationships with all three parties and represent key stakeholder interests both internally and externally.

Reporting and analysis

• Work with the Marketing team and representatives from each of the charities to undertake campaign reporting, as well as post-event analysis including, but not limited to, audience insight and feedback, engagement and attendance rates, and fundraising per participant. 
• Establishing a clear payment schedule for both sides for marketing contributions and donations.
• Track performance including registration numbers and income – reporting back to all parties.
• Undertake analysis work to improve understanding of current audience demographics and their interests, reviewing this regularly to ensure accuracy.
• Undertake regular competitor analysis work to scope trends and gaps in the marketplace – looking at how we benchmark ourselves against our competitors.
• Support on the strategic planning devised by all partners, providing insight learnt from the portfolio and audience analysis to help shape this.

General 

• Keep up to date with sector knowledge to ensure best practice. 
• Identify new trends and scope out new product development. 
• Support all elements of event delivery (including volunteer recruitment, training weekends), attending UK and overseas events when required.
• Help identify and build relationships with relevant celebrities or influencers to contribute to the Women V Cancer marketing strategy
• Work alongside charity partners to develop supporter journeys for a series of UK and Overseas events which will increase conversion, average gift and retention.
