Fauna & Flora is seeking a highly experienced conservation professional to assist with the effective development, management and delivery of marine projects within the Asia-Pacific Programme (including identification and development of new projects), and to provide strategic guidance and technical support to these and other projects as required.  You will become the focal point and advocate for marine conservation work for the Asia-Pacific Region, with a strong knowledge and understanding of Fauna & Flora’s niche and strategy and of the work of other organisations in this space. You will develop a strong knowledge of, and engagement with, donor opportunities relating to marine conservation in the region, and will support the development of a strategic and well-funded portfolio of marine work across the Asia-Pacific Region.

You will work with Country Programme Directors and Fauna & Flora’s cross-cutting technical expertise to ensure that the most appropriate technical knowledge and experience inform the design and delivery of our work.

We are looking for an individual with a demonstrated commitment to biodiversity conservation, high-level technical knowledge, excellent writing skills, and on-the-ground experience working in biodiversity conservation in South East Asia. Your ability to harness knowledge effectively from across the organisation will be essential to this role.  You will be able to build collaborative relationships and working arrangements across diverse and dispersed teams, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. Action for Conservation is a grassroots charity with a mission to bring the magic of nature into young people’s lives, inspiring a youth movement committed to conservation, restoration and to the Earth. We use pioneering approaches to inspire and empower young people from diverse backgrounds, between the ages of 12 and 24, to become the next generation of environmental leaders. We're looking to appoint a Programme Coordinator based along the South East Coast to help us expand our work in the region and deliver our programmes for young people.

About the role

As South East Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering our core programmes in your region. Through your work, you will inspire and support young people to connect with nature in new and exciting ways and gain new environmental knowledge and skills, and will empower them to have a voice on environmental issues they care about and take action for nature.

You will plan and lead a wide range of sessions for and with young people indoors (including in schools), outdoors and online. You will also support young people to design and deliver environmental action projects that benefit nature and their local communities and create platforms for young people to share their voices and influence decision-making. You will look after all practical and administrative aspects of programme delivery as well as play a vital role in inspiring, empowering and supporting young people both during and outside of activities. You will also formally act as our Blue Mentor for the Blue Influencers Scheme, a match-funded programme for environmental youth social action, funded by The Ernest Cook Trust and the #iwill Fund. 

This role sits across programme coordination and administration on one hand and programme delivery on the other. The proportion of each varies throughout the year, with a busy spring and summer season of activities leading into a quieter, desk-based autumn and winter season as we plan and get ready for the year ahead. In total across the year, you can expect to lead or support the delivery of four to six Ambassador events (usually day-long with a 2-day residential graduation), two 5-day residential summer camps, and around 25 (half-day) sessions at secondary schools or youth groups in your regional (plus additional sessions as needed to support your colleagues with their session delivery).

To be successful in the role, you will be highly organised, proactive, self-reliant and a skilled facilitator who can engage and build positive relationships with young people in a range of settings. You will have prior experience of delivering events and activities for and with young people and, ideally, relevant experience of programme coordination and administration.

Main duties

Support young people to engage in our programmes and learn about, connect with and take action for nature

• Recruit a diverse range of schools, youth groups and young people to take part in our programmes and act as Blue Influencers, with a particular focus on young people experiencing disadvantage and marginalisation.
• Create exciting content and educational materials for young people.
• Plan and deliver events and activities that help young people to connect with nature, develop their environmental knowledge and skills and take action in their communities, with a particular focus on coastal, marine and riverine environmental issues.
• Support and mentor young people to imagine, plan and deliver environmental action projects to tackle issues that are important to them, with a particular focus on projects that benefit blue spaces.
• Support young people to partner with local community organisations to embed their projects within the community and maximise learning, connection and impact.
• Lay the groundwork for our first coastal Intergenerational Action Site, bringing together young people, conservationists, local stakeholders and community members through our ‘gold standard’ approach to intergenerational nature restoration and decision-making.

Lead on programme coordination and support with safety, evaluation and communications

• Be responsible for the general coordination and manage the logistics to deliver our programmes in your region.
• Manage risk, health and safety and safeguarding during programme activities.
• Ensure Blue Influencer projects meet the Ernest Cook Trust’s and #iwill Fund’s funding criteria and are administered in line with the due diligence guidance.
• Support the evaluation of our programmes and report on outcomes. 
• Help us to grow and manage our network of volunteers in your region.
• Share stories of the young people you work with and support young people to directly share their stories through social media, YouTube, blogs, articles, talks and other channels.
• Help us to expand our network of local community partners that are actively looking to engage more young people.
• Be an active member of the regional and national network of Blue Mentors.

The role

As a Community Coordinator for FareShare, your primary responsibility will be to manage and sustain the Community Food Membership (CFM) programme. Your goal will be to build and maximize relationships with our partner. To excel in this role, you must be an exceptional communicator with an approachable nature, capable of securing, developing, and maintaining relationships whilst raising awareness of FareShare Merseyside and North Wales (FSM&NW) across the region.

The Community Coordinator will require a full clean driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be competent and confident traveling independently as they will be traveling across our region, Wirral, Knowsley, Sefton, Halton, Cheshire East, Liverpool and North Wales.

As a Community Coordinator it is vital to ensuring the success and sustainability of the FareShare’s CFM’s, fostering, strong, supportive relationships with our charity partners making a positive impact.

Main areas of responsibility

This role requires close collaboration with the Regional Manager, the Finance team, and Head Office. The Community Coordinator is expected to meet recruitment and retention targets, produce comprehensive reports, and ensure all requirements of funders are met.

The Organisation

The Role

As an Estates Manager, you will deliver an effective estate management function across the expansive and diverse Royal Parks Estate.

Your responsibilities will span the management of property-related matters, including non-residential assets and the negotiation of property contracts, ensuring that we maximise value from our property portfolio.

A central part of your role will be the negotiation and management of leases, occupation licences, rent and licence fee reviews, as well as ensuring compliance and monitoring of existing agreements.

You will also manage utility access across the estate, ensuring that we receive the best value while co-ordinating with Park Managers to minimise disruption during major events or ceremonies.

• Oversee the property management database together with other Estate Managers

About You

To be considered as an Estates Manager, you will need:

• General practice asset and/or estate management experience
• Experience working for an estate of similar size and complexity to the Royal Parks
• Experience using property management databases
• The ability to read drawings/maps (notably plans, sections and elevations)
• Excellent report writing, mathematical and analytical skills
• A degree level education or equivalent through relevant training or experience

Analysis and budgets:

• Evaluate fundraising activity against budgets and KPIs, making recommendations for future developments to improve performance.
• Help set annual budgets with regular forecasting.

Julie’s Bicycle (JB) is seeking a proactive and flexible part-time Researcher with a strong understanding of climate and environmental themes and policy, and an interest in the ways that these connect with cultural and creative industries. The Researcher will undertake a wide range of desk research, sourcing and synthesising information into clear summaries and briefings to be shared internally and externally. They will collaborate with JB’s Programme Leads to link insights from on-the-ground projects into the wider external context. Working closely with the Senior Leadership team, the Researcher’s work will underpin JB’s thought-leadership and advocacy work for the role of culture (the arts, cultural heritage and creative industries) in climate action, simultaneously deepening our understanding of how we can affect the most change.

We need to create a wilder Hampshire and a wilder Isle of Wight. Wildlife is in freefall both locally and nationally and we need many, many more people on nature’s side if we are to tip the balance in favour of nature’s recovery. 

We need a talented community organiser to work with us on an exciting project to help wildlife flourish in urban areas across Winchester, Basingstoke and Petersfield and bring people together to tackle the climate and nature emergencies, as part of Team Wilder. This person will be working with and supporting communities, individuals, local groups and volunteers across Hampshire. 

The role will focus on catalysing and supporting self-sustaining community led initiatives to support wildlife –this could be anything from greening community spaces or streets, improving areas for particular wildlife such as pollinators, bats, swifts or hedgehogs to setting up groups to tackle problems such as litter or household pollution or influencing others, including local government and businesses, to take action. This role will also require key partnership engagement and the ability to see opportunities to link Wilder to existing and emerging third-party initiatives. This role sits within the Advocacy and Engagement team and will work with others in the team and across the Trust to help build Team Wilder as a key strand of the Trust’s strategy.

To succeed in putting nature in recovery, we need many people on nature’s side – to support the Trust, to take action themselves and to persuade others to do things differently. The science suggests that to create a social tipping point in society where we can turn things around for climate and wildlife, we need 1 in 4 people to take meaningful action in support of the natural world.   

This role will use a community organising approach to support neighbourhoods across Hampshire to take community led action for nature in their local area through two routes: The development and delivery of the Trust’s Wilder Neighbourhoods programme, and in partnership with the Greening Campaign, making space for nature. This role will take learning from this delivery and work closely with the Wilder Communities Manager, support, train and develop new ‘Super Champions’ in the community and line manage the Wilder Communities Officers to offer a cohesive programme for communities and neighbourhoods across Hampshire & the Isle of Wight which connects them with the Trust and Team Wilder through the Reaching Community Lottery project.

The Role

Your work will include delivering Ashden’s 2025 awards and collaborating with colleagues to set the process by which the winners will be chosen. You will oversee the communication with finalists, and support panels of expert judges to decide the champions.

You will also collaborate with colleagues to ensure delivery of a high-profile awards ceremony in London next summer. You will support the international award winners as they visit the UK to take part in that event and lead the integration of all the 2025 winners into ongoing projects and programmes. 

Your responsibilities will include development and oversight of the relevant budget. You will report to the Editor.

What you will be doing:

• Working with colleagues on the programme teams to deliver the awards process.
• Overseeing the assessment and judging process; winners liaison; planning for integration into support programmes. 
• Work closely with the fundraising team to ensure the sponsor requirements are met. 
• Management of awards budgets, including contracts with suppliers.
• Generation of insights and data through the awards process to feed into the organisational monitoring, evaluation and learning process.
