We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Project Co-Ordinator to provide maternity cover within the Practice team (P&D Directorate) at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
You will be working with us to provide project management support to a range of priority projects across the Practice and Development directorate and support project teams using project management methodologies and structures including reporting of the risk register for the projects, working with the project managers and sponsors to mitigate any identified risks/issues. As part of the team, you will play an active role in supporting and progressing a range of projects which will enable members to develop and innovate within practice.
The role requires engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including CSP members, other AHP colleagues, educators and key health decision makers. You will be comfortable delivering member facing services, communicating key messages, promoting resources and activities developed by the team, as well as contributing to the planning and development of priority areas.
The role requires someone who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues across the CSP but is also able to take ownership of designated areas of responsibilities to support established programmes of work. Furthermore, it also requires the ability to demonstrate leadership behaviours in one’s own role, and to manage upwards where appropriate.
To succeed in the role, you will need excellent organisational, information management and technology skills to deliver and develop projects and resources, as well as excellent skills in capturing, synthesising and analysing data. You will also need strong communication and organisational skills to manage a varied workload working to defined deadlines.

About the role
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants their work to contribute to the effective operational running of the organisation. You will provide a vital link across Collaborate and so you’ll need to be a good communicator and collaborator. You will liaise with our project and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our information, to support good management and decision-making. Your work will help us to ensure that we are managing our project budgets appropriately, particularly in relation to expenses and sub-contractor (Associate) costs.
We’re looking for a highly numerate and well-organised person, someone who enjoys working with data, with impeccable attention to detail and who is eager to support our finance and operations functions.

Job responsibilities
You will be supported by and work closely with the Business Development & Operations Manager and will liaise with our bookkeeper.
Your day-to-day role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Finances

Ensuring our financial records are complete and accurate.

Processing and approving the team’s monthly expenses.

Liaising with project teams to ensure project expenses budgets are managed effectively.

Processing and ensuring our Associates’ invoices are approved and paid each month.

Help to develop a new process for approval and payment of our other supplier invoices and will then take on responsibility for that approvals process.

Managing our invoice schedule, ensuring that we are invoicing for our projects in a timely way

Liaising with our bookkeeper to maintain the finance inbox, responding to some queries and escalating others where necessary.

Informing clients when payments have been received and sending reminders for payment as payment terms are approaching.

Liaising with clients (particularly new clients) to ensure that we are set up as a supplier, purchase order numbers are raised to enable us to invoice and that the necessary processes are followed to enable us to be paid for our projects.

Working with the Director of Finance & Operations to identify, develop and implement improvements to our financial processes and systems.

Developing and sharing updates on finances as required, e.g. monthly cashflow updates for the Executive Directors
Operations

Ensuring clarity and accuracy on CMAP (our project platform - NB no prior knowledge of this is expected!) for our projects to ensure:

Accurate expense handling, to ensure they’re charged correctly to our clients

Associate budget allocations are correct and up-to-date

Contract budgets match the project budgets and our invoice schedule

Checks are carried out before projects are closed

You may also be asked to help with other support, checks or analysis to support our smooth project management and oversight

Acting as key points of liaison between the project teams and the bookkeeper wherever possible and escalating to the BD & Ops Manager and/or the Director of Finance & Ops where needed.

Job Purpose
The postholder will be responsible for two key organisational areas:
- Practice Education to an allocation of student social workers: 80% of workload
- Support with induction planning and administrative tasks relevant to the student placement programme: 20% of workload
The postholder will be responsible for providing student social workers with effective, high-quality supervision and support throughout their practice placements and maintaining accurate records of student work undertaken to inform holistic assessments of students’ practice. Raising awareness of mental health in young people has never been more important, with one in six young people now reported to have issues with their mental health.
Our ‘Minds Up’ schools mental health, wellbeing and resilience project aims to help young people understand what mental health is, to recognise that they have mental health and need to take care of it, and to discover ways to protect their wellbeing and ask for help when needed.
The project is delivered across five London Boroughs: Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. We are looking for sessional trainers to deliver Minds Up workshops to schools in these boroughs. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who can facilitate across Greenwich.
The role holder will facilitate weekly workshops across years 5 to 13 in primary and secondary schools, encouraging healthy debate and interaction around mental health and wellbeing.
Ideally with experience of working in schools, you will be confident in training young people around mental health and wellbeing, with a good understanding of mental health issues and how they impact on young people’s lives.
You must be well organised and flexible in terms of adapting to the course content, since this may vary depending on the audience. There may also be times when co-delivery of training sessions is appropriate.
Applicants must be flexible as this post will involve travel across our South East London boroughs, and working hours will vary in line with the school day.

The project is delivered term time across the academic year, with trainers delivering to a different student group each session. The sessional trainer role is responsible for facilitation of weekly training sessions and a small amount of session administration. All content and session plans are provided however, the ideal candidate is expected to be confident in adapting the session to the needs of students.
School continuity is important to the project, we ask our trainers commit to facilitating up to two 2-hour workshops each week in a local school. Both workshops will usually take place during a school day – for example a morning and a midday workshop.
Candidates will be expected to allocate 5-6 hours at each school, excluding travel. Please note, some trainings require an early morning start in line with the school day and therefore you may need to be able to arrive at the school by 8am.

The project is to meet and hear from people who have been in mental health hospitals. We will be finding out about what went well and what could have been better.
We want to make sure that our information, conversations and activities are easy to understand for people with a learning disability. You’ll be helping us to get it right.
Sometimes you will be helping us write questions, sometimes you will be meeting people in hospital to find out about their experience. Sometimes you might come to workshops to help us run them well. We also want your help to think about what people tell us. You will help us tell people what we have found out in a way that is easy to understand.
We really want to hear from some people who don’t often get the chance to say what they think. We will be meeting with some people to do workshops and activities. We will be meeting other people online. You can work with us to help us make this interesting and easy to understand for people with a learning disability.
The work time is not fixed for this job and working days will change across the month. The person will be paid for half a day each week. This will mean that the person might work a full day one week and not work the next week, but that payment will always be the same at the end of each month. We will agree working days and time with the person.

The Operations & Learning Associate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations, providing logistical, technical and administrative support across the full range of FSC activities. The role will also contribute to a culture of continual learning and improvement through coordinating the implementation of FSC’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Framework, administering regular feedback and learning surveys.

Bolton Adult Autism Support (BAAS) is an award winning grassroots charity supporting autistic adults and their carers. In recognition of our work, in June 2020, BAAS received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE of voluntary organisations. Headed by a driven and diverse Board of Trustees, and to expand on our successful existing Social Activities and Life Skills Program, we are now looking to extend our staff team by employing two Outreach Coordinators.
Job Description
Overview
We are looking to recruit two driven and dedicated individuals who share a passion for enriching the lives of autistic adults, to facilitate our varied Social & Life Skills Project. The individuals recruited will work together to develop and deliver engaging sessions for the Service Beneficiaries of our charity. All Social & Life Skills Sessions will be delivered in group settings. Although working in partnership with each other, there will be some differentiation required between the roles, as follows:-
Role 1 - Will require someone who is confident in leading cooking skills sessions with autistic adults, and who is able to develop a wide ranging program of cookery skills to facilitate this. Assisting our Service Beneficiaries to gain confidence in the kitchen, as well as helping them to shop for food in a way that maximises their budgets.
Role 2 - Will require someone who is confident in leading a program of engaging arts and crafts sessions, assisting our Service Beneficiaries to build new skills and find new hobbies that they enjoy, and wherever possible, encouraging Service Beneficiaries to showcase their own particular interests and talents with the rest of the group.
Both post holders will also work together to facilitate regular group discussions with autistic adults, discussing various topical themes, thereby allowing Service Beneficiaries to share their experiences with others who may have similar life experiences.
Administration

Identify and establish partnership arrangements in various locations across the Bolton Borough, in order to hold social and life skills activities for the people who use our service.

Devise an enriching program of activities to encompass life skills sessions and social activity opportunities, in a way which facilitates peer relationships wherever possible.

Accurately record attendance at all events for reporting purposes.

Carry out location risk assessments in line with company policy.

Attend relevant training identified by the Service Manager.

Engage in regular performance reviews, as required.

Positively represent BAAS at all times within working hours.
Volunteer Management

Supervise and support volunteers to assist with delivery of the social activity and life skills program.

Monitor and collate volunteer hours in line with reporting requirements.
Service Beneficiary Engagement

Supervise and support the people who use our service at all social and life skills events, ensuring that all who attend feel welcome and valued.

Deliver an enriching program of activities encompassing life skills sessions and social activity opportunities, in a way which facilitates peer relationships wherever possible.

Carry out periodic wellbeing reviews with service beneficiaries to measure the project’s impact by completing in house wellbeing assessments.

The Role
- Account manage and steward a tailored portfolio of high-value UK trusts and foundations donors including their largest donor. This role is purely focussed relationships management of the accounts
- Work collaboratively with the peer level senior trusts manager, supporting on new applications as needed
- Develop individual stewardship, engagement, and communications strategies.
- Team management and development of the team- line management experience is not needed
- Identify matches between grant makers’ funding priorities and the charity’s projects.
- Seek innovative opportunities to deepen and broaden relationships with donors.

The Diocese of Truro is currently undertaking a grassroots change aimed at positioning the Church in Cornwall to tackle the biggest spiritual and societal needs of Cornwall in the 21st Century, this work has been undertaken by the local church, through engagement with a deanery planning process. Our Change and Renewal team is providing vital support to deaneries to help them achieve their plans.
This role is to enable and facilitate local engagement and communications with key stakeholders in parishes and deaneries in the implementation of their deanery plans in and delivering the Diocesan Plan for Change & Renewal. This means developing a range of approaches for communications to ensure greater reach and give opportunities to gather input from stakeholders. It is also about working alongside volunteers and clergy to support them to share their own stories and engage people locally.
The right person for this role will be an effective and adaptive communicator who is skilled in used a range of media and approaches to engage stakeholders. This will include written content, digital platforms, traditional media and face-to-face delivery of workshops and meetings. Being proactive, organised and able to meet deadlines is key. Because it involves working across the diocese, you need to be good with people and be interested in what we and our parishes do.
