Our Communications & Campaigns Coordinator leads our communications and supporter engagement work including developing and implementing our communications strategy.

Our Communications Coordinator will lead this work, building case studies and supporting our young people to share their stories through our new Youth Ambassadors programme. ,Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using Power Apps Studio, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Power BI to automate processes and improve data insights
- Working closely with teachers, school leaders, head office staff, consultants and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solutions meet their needs
- Integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems used by the Harris Federation, ensuring security, seamless data flow and functionality.
- Providing ongoing support and maintenance for the developed solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing updates as required
- Creating technical documentation and providing training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the developed solutions.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve existing solutions

,We would like to hear from you if you have:
- A good general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy
- Operational experience of developing AI tools and processes, ideally within a large education environment or similarly large organisation
- Familiarity with educational data, recognising the sensitivities of this data as well as understanding what quality and accurate data means for educational institutions
- Awareness of potential impacts if data is inaccurate, particularly in educational settings
- Confidence with the management of educational data across a complex organisation
- Familiarity with operating within an integrated/complex educational data system
- Experience of reporting and analysis of educational workforce data
- Understanding of relevant employment legislation, the Data Protection Act, Information Governance issues, GDPR and the principles of equality and diversity, especially as they pertain to educational environments
- Knowledge of the rules, guidance, and laws governing the secure handling of personally identifiable data within educational institutions
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Copilot 365, Power automate, Power Bi, Sharepoint, Power Apps and other Microsoft products

About the role
In this role you will process expenditure items in an efficient and controlled manner, either using the invoice scanning software Kofax, or through manual entry into the financial ledger. Make a Change is a community-wide, early response approach to people using abusive behaviours (or who are concerned that they might be) towards a current or ex-partner. The model has been developed by Respect in partnership with Women’s Aid Federation England, drawing inspiration from their Change that Lasts approach. It includes three strands: expert support programme for perpetrators with parallel support for survivors, workforce development and community outreach.
Improving the safety, freedom and wellbeing of adult and child survivors of domestic abuse is a key outcome for our work with perpetrators. The Make a Change model is a multi-partner project offering local areas a framework for delivering perpetrator work. Where feasible, we aim to establish partnerships with local survivor domestic abuse service to deliver parallel support for survivors (referred to as Integrated Support Service) as part the expert support strand.
Purpose of the role:
The Senior Communications and Policy Officer will work with the Make a Change team at Respect to advance the development of communication and policy activities for the Make a Change model in project sites and nationally to encourage uptake in new areas. They will also work with Respect’s Communications and Influence leads to ensure alignment with the organisation's broader messaging and advocacy efforts, maximising the impact of Make a Change initiatives. The postholder will lead on developing and implementing communication strategies and plans in partnership with our delivery partners across the sites.
