Job description

Are you looking for a role where you can use your fundraising experience to support an end to homelessness in Bristol and the South through community and corporate fundraising?

This post is offered as a fixed term contract or internal secondment until 6 February 2026

Working within the St Mungo’s National Community and Events Team, the Regional Fundraising Coordinator will raise awareness of St Mungo's brand profile across the South West through applying for profile raising partnerships and attending local events. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing and developing their own portfolio including community groups, clubs and associations, schools, faith groups and local businesses. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop St Mungo’s regional fundraising programme, with a focus on community and corporate fundraising.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a range of fundraising activities, whilst nurturing current supporter relationships and developing new fundraising opportunities and networks.
  • Support the growth of our national fundraising activities, by recruiting regional supporters to our national fundraising products and challenge events.
  • Continuously engage with the local community and build positive, lasting relationships through regular face to face meetings, presentations and through local/ supporter led event attendance.

The role will require frequent travel within Bristol and to our office in London, as well as some evening and weekend working. Occasional travel will also be required to other regions in Reading, Oxford and Bournemouth. Out of hours work will be offered back in the form of time off in lieu.

About you

We think this role will suit someone with experience of working in a Community, Corporate, or Philanthropy fundraising team.

  • You will have a target driven approach, and able to demonstrate success in growing income from supporters.
  • You will enjoy building strong, lasting relationships with supporters and volunteers, engaging with a variety of people, and working closely within the local community and seeking out opportunities to engage our fundraisers in St Mungo's work.
  • You will be proactive and able to achieve results in independent tasks, working autonomously with the ability to plan and manage your own workload.
  • Due to the nature of the role, a driving license will be beneficial to support travel to different local communities.

Our clients and supporters are at the heart of everything we do and we are looking for someone who shares our vision, passion and commitment to ending homelessness.

St Mungo's are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We strongly encourage applications from all under-represented groups.
