As Project Support Officer you will support our Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation, and giving our volunteers a fantastic experience. Each of our community meal projects is run by Project Leaders (volunteer position). You will support Project Leaders in running our community meal projects, and will give extra support to our projects as and when required.
This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, recruiting new Project Leaders for the Region, or attending projects. The right person for this role is customer service oriented with great communication skills, enjoys being organized, has a can-do attitude, and understands that they are a key component in supporting our fantastic Projects.
There will be frequent travel to our projects in South West England and South Wales, and evening and weekend work will be needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.

About the Role
This CYP Senior Counsellor post is integral to the delivery of this new community-based clinical service, overseeing the day-to-day management and delivery of the service to ensure it operates smoothly, responsively and empathically. The postholder will work clinically within the service, delivering group and 1:1 counselling, whilst also holding responsibility for managing the wider CYP Community Counselling Service workforce. They will conduct both initial contacts and counselling assessments with all CYPF referred to the service, providing a caring and supportive experience from the offset of the CYPF’s journey through the service. The postholder will use their initiative to manage service demand and work with the Service Manager to report on the service’s performance, impact and evaluation. They will proactively develop the service with CYPF at the centre of their decision making, seeking their contribution consistently.
The successful candidate will have A Level 4 qualification diploma or above in counselling, psychotherapy or arts/play therapy AND current registered/accredited/full/qualified membership of one of the following relevant professional bodies (BACP, UKCP, HCPC, BAAT etc.) and a minimum of 2-3 years experience working in a therapeutic or counselling capacity with children, young people and/or families.

The Supporter Care Administrator will support the Fundraising Team with membership and community fundraising to maximise engagement and income from the valued supporters of Somerset Wildlife Trust.
This is a crucial role which would suit a person wanting to work in a meaningful and friendly team, whilst requiring part time and hybrid hours.
The Supporter Care Administrator will meet the Fundraising Strategic Targets by:
Providing great supporter care and record keeping, and key support to the fundraising team, to maximise engagement and income from supporters of Somerset Wildlife Trust.
Responsibility 1: Supporter care
- Being the first point of contact for the majority of our supporters and offer first-class stewardship to ensure our members, donors and fundraisers feel well-supported.
- Maintaining the highest standards of supporter care, including when responding to enquiries, judging when to involve other fundraisers to maximise potential support and income.
Responsibility 2: CRM (Raiser’s Edge) & Systems
- Providing efficient data entry and administration, including for membership, fundraising appeals, community fundraising and events, processing all donations, including credit card payments, cheques and BACS accurately and acknowledging donations in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records on the Trust’s supporter database (Raiser’s Edge), including by uploading new memberships, donations and event attendees and updating records. Work with other team members to manage the recording of fundraising activity and income to help them become confident users.
- Producing electronic member retention letters and work with the Database Officer make other improvements to processes to maximise effective use of Raiser’s Edge.
- Assisting in the ongoing development and improvement of Raiser’s Edge and in the support of other teams using the system.
- Supporting Fundraising colleagues with other systems used in the day to work of the team.
Responsibility 3: Team administration
- Being able to manage multiple tasks and requirements whilst demonstrating excellent time management.
- Demonstrating good problem-solving skills and be able to work independently to deal with most enquiries and issues arising during the day.
- Providing administrative support for the Fundraising team.
- Identifying and propose improvements that can be made to internal processes to help make the team more efficient.
- Supporting with member events, including the AGM.

What you will be doing
We are looking for a Learning & Development Administrator to join our HR Team. This role reports to the Learning and Development Lead and provides a first-class L&D administration service across the organisation.
We are looking for someone who has an appetite when it comes to the training and development of our people. We are a small national charity that really cares about what we do. We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking to expand our team. We are seeking a passionate individual to support our network of more than 30 autonomous, volunteer-led local groups across the UK.
As our Groups Co-ordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our network of groups. You will ensure that all the volunteers that run our groups get the support that they require, in areas such as developing group activities, promoting the group and fundraising. You’ll respect the autonomy that groups have to make their own decisions, while ensuring that they work within the framework of Different Strokes and that they meet compliance requirements. The ability to communicate effectively is essential, as is experience of working with volunteers.
The role would be based in our office in Milton Keynes, but require regular visits to our groups across the UK. There is also the potential for this to be a hybrid role with some home working.
