This role is maternity cover for the Head of Fundraising.
The Fundraising and Business Development Manager is a really exciting position which will play a key role in driving growth and sustainability for FearFree by identifying and securing new funding opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our service delivery.

About FareShare Sussex & Surrey
We rescue surplus food from businesses, farms and supermarkets. This food is nutritious, in-date and safe, and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables and fruit. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it to charities, community kitchens, community pantries and fridges, food banks, schools and other organisations serving vulnerable people. Our food is a vital lifeline for children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and key workers.
We operate out of two depots; Guildford (Surrey) and Brighton (Sussex) as part of 35 Regional Centres, working as a network across the country with FareShare, a national charity. The Guildford warehouse is new and enables us to receive, store and deliver more fresh, frozen, chilled and ambient food across the region.
Last year, we delivered enough food for 2.14 million meals to help vulnerable people in our community. We receive and deliver around 80 tonnes of food every month, currently to 147 organisations, including homeless shelters, community pantries, food banks, clubs, children’s centres and lunch clubs across 3 counties. FareShare Sussex & Surrey also works to improve the lives of vulnerable people far from the workplace through our successful employability programme.

Main purpose of this role
The Employability Coordinator will form part of a project team with the Employability Programme Manager. The project team will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the Employability Programme. The Employability Coordinator will deliver Employability and skills-based training, as well as monitoring participant progress and providing effective information, advice and guidance. The role will deliver the day-to-day activities of the programme in the Guildford depot, supporting individuals looking to enter employment, education or training. Therefore, the right person would need to have the skills and confidence to deliver sessions to groups of 3-10 individuals and provide one-to-one mentoring sessions to participants. Employability at FareShare Sussex & Surrey FareShare Sussex & Surrey has run a pilot employability programme through its Brighton Depot for 4 years and has taken these learnings to relaunch our programme across both our depots in Brighton and Guildford. This project will work with long-term unemployed people and those from the probation service (Brighton) and 18-25 year olds who are far from education, employment or training (Guildford) to provide the support they need to successfully secure and sustain meaningful employment.
The project will work with 60 Trainees a year across the 2 depots and will provide an integrated, person-centred employment service for the long-term unemployed in Sussex and Surrey. The project will be designed based upon the best practice currently within and external to the FareShare Network. These are the 3 core project elements of Employment Support, Work Experience and Training & Wellbeing.
Due to the nature of the job market in the region, our programme will focus on the hospitality industry. Utilising our commercial kitchen space at Brighton and clean room at Guildford, we will provide a varied package of kitchen skills, barista training and stock control across both depots.
In each element, Trainees will receive a tailored programme of 1-2-1 and group support. Activities will include coaching Trainees in important work skills and supporting them through the processes of searching for, securing and sustaining employment. Each Trainee will be taken through an assessment process to identify what is required to support them to secure sustainable employment. An individual development plan will be created for each Trainee. This will also include developing links to employers and educational establishments to source employment and progression opportunities for Trainees.
Creating and managing partnerships with other local community assets to bring wellbeing services into the regional centre or encourage, support and enable Trainees to access additional wellbeing support in the community will also be vital to the success of the programme. Each Trainee will have a limited personal development budget to engage with other services.
Trainees will be engaged in utilising strength and asset based approaches and the aims of the project encompass improving Trainee wellbeing and personal development in addition to skills training and the overarching aim of enabling Trainees to secure employment.

The JustMoney Movement is looking for a Communications & Events Coordinator (0.8 FTE) to help build our profile and reach, engaging diverse audiences from across the UK churches in learning, action and campaigning for a greener, fairer financial system and wider economy. You will be an outstanding communicator with the skills, passion and experience to engage new audiences in action for a more just use of money, and to bring existing audiences on a journey towards deeper engagement. You will be highly organised with a track record of delivering impactful events, resources and digital assets, ideally within a church or Christian organisation. This role is based mostly from home with 1 day a week in central London and some travel within the UK. This role requires applicants to have the right to live and work in the UK.
Role Requirements
- Lead on the implementation of JustMoney Movement’s communications strategy, raising the profile of the organisation and our work, growing the scale, depth and diversity of engagement from across the UK churches, and ensuring the organisation remains on message both in content and visually.

The Role

Part time Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive
Hours: 17.5 hours a week (ideally across four or five days, and withing ISHA’s core working hours of 10am-4pm)
Contract: Permanent
Location: ISHA, 102 Blackstock Road, Finsbury Park, N4 2DR
Salary: £19,500 pro rata (£39,000 full time equivalent)
You’ll be the first port of call for many internal colleagues, Board members and external stakeholders, with our Chief Executive active as part of many London and national fora. Great customer service, exemplary diary management, and a commitment to ISHA’s values are a must.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Managing the CEO inbox, prioritising emails for responses etc, ensuring delegating task are completed. Prioritise enquiries and requests whilst troubleshooting conflicts and making judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day to day arrangements.
- Manage the Chief Executive’s diary ensuring that Chief Executive is fully briefed.
- Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with the Chief Executive’s key stakeholders and colleagues. To communicate and liaise with sensitively but confidently with people from all levels, both internally and externally including board members, executive directors, Senior Management Team, the local authority and other housing association partners and residents.
- Oversee the coordination of information to assist the Chief Executive in preparing for key meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Timetabling key discussions in the business cycle.
- Collating and publishing Leadership team papers and tracking actions.
- Liaising with Third party providers to ensure the smooth running of contracts/projects.
- Processing of invoices for the Chief Executive with related spend.
- Playing a key role in Chief Executive led initiatives to ensure the timely and successful deliver, for example aways days and or our staff conference.
- Prepare expenses and other financial matters in line with our financial regulations.
- Other duties that help us deliver first rate services to our residents and customers internal and external, for example minute taking time to time.
- Organise any travel arrangements.

They are now looking to appoint a Lettings Coordinator to support this new business. As one of the first key hires, the Lettings Coordinator will be an integral figure. This person will need to work proactively, have the ability to think on their feet and provide an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities
Mostly office based, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the day to day tasks within their property portfolio are managed effectively in the following areas:
Supporting the team
- Helping the Property Advisor with listing new properties on Zoopla and social media
- Managing the application process for tenants from enquiry to move in
- Arranging & checking compliance certificates for new and existing tenancies
- Preparing all documentation, keys and tenant information packs ready for move-ins
- Coordinating Viewings, Inspections & Move In/Out visits
- Listening to landlords and applicants to understand their needs
- Responding to all telephone and email enquiries for viewing requests
- Organising viewings with applicants and tenants in situ
- Arranging quarterly property visits with tenants
- Booking in move-in and move-out appointments
Office management
- Welcoming all clients warmly to thier Lettings office
- Maintaining stock levels for the day to day running of the office
- Producing landlord and tenant information packs
- Ensuring smooth running of the office, including being the day-to-day contact point for service providers e.g. cleaners
Key Management
- Tag all keys coming into them
- Manage the key system and log all use of keys, in and out
- Follow up with contractors when keys aren’t returned promptly
- Audit the key system on a 6 monthly basis
Data Systems, Website & Social Media
- Ensure tenant, landlord and property details are updated and audited through the CRM system
- Support the team with regular website updates
- Update Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages
Skills & Experience Required
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Ability to learn and adopt skills in new IT software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Using own initiative to resolve problems
- Customer service orientated
- Previou work experience within a lettings agency or able to evidence familiarity with the lettings process

A blend of the traditional Negotiator and Property Manager roles, you will be the go-to person for all aspects of your portfolio from start to finish. As one of the first key hires for this exciting new company, you will be an integral part of the business succeeding.

Property Works
• Being available for calls and emails when repairs are required

• Following up on new opportunities
• Keeping an eye on the portal for stock that would suit their applicants
• Promoting them through social media channels
• Spending time talking and integrating with the local community
Social Media
• Understanding their marketing strategy to keep channels updated
• Engaging with local business to help promote them
• Updating Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn when required
• Seeking new partnership opportunities within these platforms
Skills Required
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, both verbally & in writing
• Demonstrable ability to remain calm in complex scenarios & build positive relationships with tenants & landlords
• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and be responsive to the needs of your portfolio, including responding to urgent tasks at short notice
• Willingness to go the extra mile, and to always do the right thing
Experience Required
• Previous experience in the lettings market
• Proven knowledge & understanding of the private rented housing sector
• Confident with compliance requirements for a tenant to move-in
• A PRS letting agency qualification is preferable but not essential
