We’re looking for a highly skilled and organised administrator to join our Retail Transport team for a 9-month fixed term contract.
Providing excellent customer service, you will be first point of contact for our Retail colleagues and van drivers.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- administering DBS compliance for all logistics service providers, ensuring adherence to BHF policy
- supporting all administration and queries around the rollout of MyVan project and being a reference point for all users
- managing our database system to ensure legal and BHF compliance of van driver data and identifying trends
- supporting processes related to payments to Van Drivers and administration of the BHF Leased Fleet
- reporting and dealing with queries and troubleshooting problems
IT proficient, with experience using MS Office and databases, you will support the Transport team to ensure work is carried out efficiently and within agreed timescales, meeting the set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Your commitment to excellence will contribute to the smooth operation of our transport services, and you’ll collaborate closely with the Transport Operations Manager and Head of Retail Transport and Logistics.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be split between your home and our Sheffield office, S21 4JH (2-3 days per week).
About you
The successful candidate will be IT literate and have demonstrated experience of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You’ll have experience of effectively dealing with conflicting priorities and deadlines and of providing high quality office and communication facilitation.
With excellent communication skills you'll be able to work as part of a team to ensure the BHF fleet runs in a safe and effective manner. You’ll be able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll have previous experience of DBS administration and compliance databases. A basic knowledge of transport legislation, with regards to van compliance, would be beneficial.

About the Consultancy:
Muslim Aid UK (MA) is seeking a procure a consultant to plan and facilitate an organisational Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) self-assessment process. This consultant will review its performance/deliverables against the CHS and then develop an improvement plan for MA to work on over the coming 12 months. The overall aim is to help MA to deliver improved accountability and increased effectiveness for the people affected by humanitarian crisis.
About the Role:
The consultant will:
- Support the MA team to complete a comprehensive validated CHS self-assessment.
- Provide an outline of the areas of compliance/ non-compliance with the standards.
- Develop an organizational improvement plan.
- Provide insight into organisational readiness to move towards an independent verification/certification process.
Deliverables
- Draft and share a short assignment inception report.
- Conduct a desk review of Muslim Aid documents for the documentation survey.
- Formulate a summary report and improvement plan with a set of key recommendations including timeline, to allow compliance with CHS, with the objective of achieving CHS verification.
- Present the main self-assessment findings during an internal validation webinar involving all MAUK HQ, Country Offices and implementing partners.
- Submit final report incorporating the outcomes of the self-assessment, including an improvement plan, should be delivered at the end of the consultancy assignment. This should be written in alignment with the MAUK standards including a two/three-page executive summary.

About You:
The successful consultant will need to have:
- A relevant degree in economics, international development, disaster management or humanitarian aid or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Significant experience with humanitarian work, including experience with project implementation and management, as well as knowledge of current humanitarian issues, trends, standards, specifically the Core Humanitarian Standards; Sphere Standards.
- Previous significant experience of organizational development, preferably within humanitarian organisations.
- Experience with CHS assessment/verification process.
- Good written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and implement assignments remotely.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of other working languages Arabic, Urdu and Bengali would be an asset.
- Experience of working in complex organisational structure.

We're recruiting for someone to lead our Capacity Building & Standards (CB&S) function on a maternity cover contract.
The CB&S function aims to build the capacity of organisations and institutions to embed the processes, skills, structures and cultures needed for effective public engagement in decision making. · Complete evaluation mechanisms for learning outcomes including the use of quantitative and qualitative feedback where appropriate.
· Working closely with the L&D coordinator and Head of L&D to collate and analyse data from L&D programmes, courses and initiatives, producing reports for key stakeholders, when requested.
· Measure and assess all L&D programmes and courses for their effectiveness and business relevance and continually seek ways to improve learning solutions.
· As and when required, provide support to the L&D Co-ordinator with the administration of training courses, including diary management and database management.
What we are looking for:

Background
The West Yorkshire Carer Breaks (WYCB) project is a new initiative (based on the Respitality model in Scotland). The project will source free, high-quality breaks for unpaid carers, from hospitality, tourism, culture and leisure businesses across the region. Local carers organisations and other delivery partners will then match these breaks to unpaid carers.
The Role
This role will be responsible for the planning, set up and delivery of this project. They will also manage the WYCB Co-ordinator.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
· overseeing the development of a new name, brand and a digital platform (to which carer breaks will be uploaded);
· building relationships with hospitality, tourism, culture and leisure businesses across West Yorkshire to source donated carer breaks; and
· leading on the development and delivery of a marketing and communications plan to promote the project to key stakeholders
The postholder will need to have a proven track record of planning, setting up and managing projects. They must be able to work across different stakeholder groups and sectors to create successful working relationships. The postholder needs to have strong marketing and communications skills and be digitally competent.

About the role
The Refugee Council supports separated children across England and part of our service is a team of staff based in Dover, working 24/7 to provide a temporary safeguarding service for children arriving there, ensuring that their basic needs are met while they await transfer to the care of a local authority. The unit is reactive to the needs of clients, who may arrive at any time.
As a Night Support Worker, you will be expected to:

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity, providing practical help, support and training to people affected by homelessness and addiction. We are passionate about the people and communities we support and embrace creative, innovative and inclusive ways of working.
We provide a residential addictions treatment programme, supported housing, training and development opportunities and a highly effective Housing First service. Our nine charity shops and two social enterprises put us at the heart of diverse East London communities.
You will join a Fundraising, Marketing and Communication team committed to working collaboratively and sharing knowledge, ideas and skills, to create a supportive culture. This is something we are proud of and believe is at the heart of our success.
Over the past year, we have transformed our communications, updating our brand and messaging. In this role, you will use your creativity to continue to deliver a vision set out by our Digital Marketing and Communications Manager during their maternity leave.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience and creativity to deliver an exciting digital, marketing and communications plan, including
Digital Marketing
Create engaging brand social media content and publishing it across our channels, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
Support services, fundraising and retail marketing on social media, including implementing paid-for advertising.
Create and edit photography and video content for our website and social media channels
Create and send out marketing emails using MailChimp and report on their performance.
Monitor responses on our social media channels, ensuring messages and comments are responded to in a timely manner.
Support our WordPress website, including updating pages and uploading posts and stories, and look for opportunities for search engine optimisation.
Monitor the performance of our WordPress website and ensure that senior managers are alerted to any issues that arise.
Communications
Write case studies, blogs and other written content, working with colleagues across the organisation.
Design posters, flyers, brochures and reports using Canva, ensuring they are within the SCT brand.
Ensure any materials adhere to SCT brand guidelines.
Retail marketing
Work in collaboration with charity retail colleagues to:
Develop collateral for SCT Shops and Social Enterprises, ensuring materials are high quality and within the SCT brand.
Ensure there is a regular flow of compelling social media content that creates customer loyalty and reaches new customers.
Other duties
Work with the Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and colleagues across SCT on the implementation of our 60th anniversary campaign.
Maintain a marketing calendar and project plans using ASANA.
Work with the Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications on PR activities, engaging with journalists and the media, influencers and other stakeholders.
Work in collaboration with colleagues in SCT services teams.
·Attend events and be willing to occasionally work outside working hours (TOIL will be given).
·Actively keep up to date with new developments in marketing and communications.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
Digital Marketing
A minimum of two years managing social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linked in.
A good understanding of GDPR legislation and how it relates to digital marketing.
Demonstratable experience of running a WordPress website, planning and uploading content and monitoring its performance
A demonstratable understanding of SEO and Google ads.
Demonstrable experience of managing paid for digital ads via Meta business manager.
Experience of producing creative and impactful social media content, including photography, video and audio materials.
Experience of creating compelling and creative marketing emails using e-mail marketing software such as Mail Chimp.
Experience of working with colleagues to develop their content creation skills and improve their understanding of social media.
Communications and marketing
A love of storytelling and excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write accurate copy for different audiences
Desireable
Proven experience of working within brand guidelines and advising others on brand execution.
Experience using CANVA to produce marketing materials in-house.
Demonstratable experience of managing a marketing calendar and leading planning meetings with internal stakeholders.
Experience in using ASANA or similar project management software.
Experience of working in a charity and working closely with fundraisers to promote their campaigns and activities.
Experience in charity retail marketing

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact for the International Director, managing communications and priorities.

We’re looking for an exceptional internal communications professional to play a critical role in leading the development and delivery of the change communications for RBLs transformation agenda in this newly created Change Communications Manager, 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

You will be contracted to our London Hub, Haig House. An exciting position has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the team at a leading international health charity. This is a 3-4 month interim contract focused on leading the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and overseeing audit processes.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Lead the preparation of year-end accounts in compliance with Charity SORP regulations
- Coordinate schedules and notes for statutory accounts and year-end audit requirements
