The IT Project Manager will be key figure for the successful delivery of our transformation plans and it present a fantastic opportunity to deliver projects that will directly have a positive benefit for young people and those who support them.The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading on the project management of individual projects and all IT related projects. This will involve managing Salesforce development projects but will include other IT related projects.
The post-holder will be part of the IT department within Central Support Team, but they will also be working on strategic digital implementation projects across the organization. They will be joining a fast paced and busy environment, with plenty of autonomy in managing their own responsibilities but they will also work closely with others to deliver the project therefore a collaborative approach and clear communication skills will be needed to be successful.

The charity is 9 years old, and initially started its work in Blackpool, the community facing the highest multiple deprivation in the country, before starting to scale. We wish to recruit a Project Worker to cover the County of Essex, based both at home and within our central office in Chelmsford. To deliver the work of The Children's Society to children, young people and families around a range of risky behaviors including child sexual exploitation, trafficking, running away, truanting, gangs, risky sexual behaviours, aggressive and challenging behaviours through the use of individual support and group work, thereby ensuring the children and young people and their families live safely and confidently in their communities.
Your experience is key in securing this role: You will need substantial experience in working with vulnerable children and young people either in a paid or unpaid capacity. You will have experience of developing and facilitating groups with young people and delivering one to one support both virtually and face to face in the school, community or home setting.
Ideally but not essentially you will have, or be working towards a relevant professional qualification e.g. a Diploma/Certificate in Youth and Community work, counselling, social care or related NVQ.

Summary

You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth-running of all aspects of academy governance administration as part of the Governor Services team to enable the team to offer high-quality central service to 50+ academies. The team provides advice, guidance and training support to Principals, Clerks and other members of staff in a range of areas, including governance, admissions, exclusions and complaints.
Reporting to the Head of Governance, areas of responsibility will include supporting Governor Services administration and providing Clerking services to nominated Federation academies.

Lead high quality professional development and school improvement programmes in our Pathway programmes and Open Learning for groups of teachers. These may be delivered in person, online or in school.

Deliver transformative consultancy support, working with teachers and school leaders to design and implement bespoke improvement plans for their oracy provision, including through in school and online consultancy support, and one-to-one advice.
