We have an exciting opening for someone to join our senior leadership team leading our campaigning work. We need a strategic expert who understands politics, campaigning and how to get the best out of campaigning organisations. The Campaigns Director leads the Campaigns department, crafting our plans and supporting the team to execute powerful, people-powered campaigns that shape the country to be fair, respectful and sustainable. They oversee campaign strategy development, as well as teams that execute our plans, run our social media campaigns, and our public/media affairs work, all while ensuring alignment with organisational goals and political positioning.

They play a critical role in steering the organisation's narrative, tracking campaign progress, and working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to align campaign objectives and work in progress with other organisational insights and initiatives.

At the Poppy Factory, we help armed forces veterans to find meaningful and sustainable employment after service. As a Navigator, you will be assisting veterans who are furthest from employment to engage in meaningful activity as they look to gradually progress back towards work. Based at your home, with regular travel, including some overnight stays at our Richmond offices. The Navigator is a non-clinical role focused on supporting Veterans with mental or physical health conditions. The role aims to support them to overcome various factors impacting their lives, to achieve improved well-being and reduced social isolation. Clients of the service may present with issues around housing, accessing relevant health care services, substance misuse, education and training, financial concerns, and benefits, amongst others.

Street Support Network is a small, impactful charity that helps over 30 locations in the UK in their responses to homelessness.
Lead organisations in these locations pay us to host and maintain a localised online directory of services and advice. This is where most of our income comes from.
We also work offline, connecting people in local areas to co-produce better solutions, facilitate conversations and co-ordinate action.
About the Role
This interim role will play a pivotal part in the future of the charity by leading the team and our network of local partnerships to support those experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
This high-impact role requires an independent and strategic leader who can balance managing existing partnerships with identifying and cultivating new opportunities and exploring options for a sustainable future for the charity.
We anticipate this role is needed initially for a six- month period to complete an options appraisal for the future. A longer-term appointment is possible, depending on the outcome of the appraisal.

About the Responsibilities
Manage existing SSN locations:
- Manage relationships with existing locations and strengthen engagement with them, ensuring they receive tailored support and we receive maximum income.
- Use our CRM system to track partnership engagement, including relationship status, history and payments. This will likely include engaging with partners regarding outstanding payments.
- Host and facilitate quarterly online network events to encourage collaboration amongst SSN locations. Support our locations with managing their data integrity. This will include recruiting and managing volunteers. Measure and report on impact using Theory of Change and other metrics, both internally and for our partners. Be responsive to enquiries from potential new partnerships.
Support the Street Support Network Team:
- Provide appropriate support and direction to the two team members.
- Host and lead regular team meetings to ensure communication, engagement and collaboration.
- Meet regularly with Chair of Trustees and Finance Advisor. Prepare Reports for Trustees and attend Trustee meetings to present advice and support actions agreed.
Income Maximisation and Fundraising:

Purpose of The role
Habitat GB is seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Advocacy Manager to lead our efforts in advocating for policy change within the UK government (in particular targeting the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) to prioritise housing in international development. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in supporting Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy agenda which aims to promote equitable access to adequate housing worldwide, focusing on informal settlements in the Global South. Butterfly Service is looking for a part time (21 hours) Family Support Worker to work in our Butterfly service. The post is to cover Maternity leave up to August 2025.
For the past 19 years, the Butterfly service has provided family support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families who are living in the city of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire areas. We work closely with hospital and community medical teams and take a holistic approach to meeting the needs of the child/young person and promoting the well-being and resilience of the whole family.
The aim of the Butterfly Service is to deliver a high level of practical and emotional support to the child/young person, their siblings, and their parents/carers.
Specific Responsibilities/Additional essential criteria of the Family Support Worker post
• You will be able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team - with colleagues, managers and other professionals to help provide high quality, bespoke support to families

The Butterfly Service provides support to children and young people with a life limiting condition and their parents, carers and siblings in the community. Mind in Haringey are seeking a Community Care Coordinator for some of our most vulnerable users. The role which has been developed to further support our service users alongside our statutory partners at North Middlesex NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department, to increase their wellbeing, confidence, social integration, and independence.

Volunteering Matters and our work across Newcastle
Volunteering Matters is a social change charity, supporting communities to overcome adversity, tackle isolation and loneliness, improve mental and physical health, develop skills and opportunities, and ensure that people can lead change by volunteering. We passionately believe everyone in the UK should have the opportunity to thrive, and that volunteering changes lives.
We have been operating Volunteer Centre Newcastle (VCN) since 2005. VCN provides a wide range of support around all things volunteering to 1250+ charities, organisations, and groups across Newcastle. Each year, we also support 2000+ members of the public who are interested in volunteering and need support to get started.
We also lead the innovative Newcastle Volunteer Passport Scheme, and the Home from Hospital project which supports older people with their transition home following a hospital admission.
Newcastle Good Neighbours Project
We are working in partnership with Newcastle City Council, and other partners, to launch a new “Good Neighbours” project. We would all like to live in a place that has a sense of community, where people look out for their neighbours. This project aims to foster a feeling of positive wellbeing and independence for those who may be socially isolated, or who don’t have many people around them, giving that “little bit of help”.
The project will help people in the community feel safe, supported, and more able to live an independent life, whilst preventing, reducing and delaying the need for formal support through Adult Social Care. It will also provide people the opportunity to volunteer a little time, in a flexible way, to make a difference in their own community. We know volunteering can lead to enhanced skills, and positive wellbeing. Volunteers will provide practical or social support, completing “one-off’ or short-term tasks, supporting a neighbour. This may include things like grocery shopping, collecting prescriptions, driving someone to a GP appointment, helping with odd jobs around the house, light gardening, or checking in with someone for a cuppa and chat.
The role of Engagement Manager
You will lead the day-to-day delivery of the Good Neighbours project. Initially running as a 2-year pilot, we aim to attract and recruit as many volunteers as possible, whilst ensuring that people who could benefit from the service know about it, and can receive support quickly and easily.
The right person for this position would be someone with a good knowledge and understanding of “best practice” in Volunteer Management. It is essential that the postholder can work flexibly, is an excellent communicator, and can build strong working relationships with a range of people. In this role, you will:
• Work alongside other Volunteering Matters colleagues/projects in Newcastle, in a joined-up way, ensuring we attract volunteers to become a “Good Neighbour”
• Recruit, train, induct, and provide ongoing support to a network of “Good Neighbours” across Newcastle, ensuring each volunteer has a positive and rewarding experience
• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues within Newcastle City Council, and other partners and stakeholders, to raise the profile of the project as a new service locally
