The Major Donor Manager, reporting into the Director of Development and working with some guidance from the Head of Major Gifts, will maintain and grow a stable pipeline of income from Major Donors. The successful candidate will have:

• Part-qualified with a CCAB qualification or evidence of equivalent experience in a similar role.

• Ideally experience working in the public sector, but this is by no means essential.
• Proven experience of working collaboratively, including working with internal and external people in positions of influence to develop and implement customer-focused business solutions.

Prospectus is excited to being working with an innovative children’s charity for a Marketing Manager. The postholder will drive successful telemarketing programmes, plan, and execute campaigns to attract, upgrade, retain, and win back supporters.

The Marketing Manager, you will manage telemarketing agencies and collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are meeting KPIs and targets. Building and maintaining strong relationships with agencies, you’ll be using data-driven insights to adapt campaign deliver, driving continuous improvement in marketing decisions.

To be successful, you will have experience managing end-to-end high-performing telemarketing campaigns & teams. You will have in-depth knowledge of charity marketing compliance, up to date telemarketing landscape and agency models. You will have the ability to foster relationships with external telemarketing agencies. You will also have strong organisational and analytical skills and be able to work as a part of a team/on your own initiative.

About the role

We have a talented Social Entrepreneur Support team who find, fund and support our award winners across the UK. They help our award winners with everything from managing their cash flow, developing business plans, evidencing social impact, raising investment, to helping them find expert mentors in specialist fields.

Guided by our dual goals to fund for impact and deliver market leading support, we will support our Social Entrepreneurs across the UK to create impact and change. This role will work in collaboration across the organisation to ensure we deliver, improve and develop our find, fund and support offer. This role will encourage and lead the SE Support team across England to seek a diverse pipeline and deliver equitable awards and support, by working alongside social entrepreneurs and by making data informed decisions. You will play a major role in deepening our capability and expertise within our awards delivery. This will include the development of internal knowledge and awareness, increasing visibility and reputation across the sector, and support the development of partnerships to enable us to deliver on our strategic goals.

Charity People is partnering with Stick 'n' Step to help find a new Trust and Grants Fundraising Manager to support them to improve the lives of the children and families they support.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time (35 hours a week) happy to discuss flexible working, including reduced or compressed hours
Location: Ideally 1 day from Wallasey/Runcorn (some flexibility on choice of main location) alongside working from home.

About the charity

Through ground-breaking, personalised therapy that isn't available on the NHS, Stick 'n' Step is currently improving day-to-day life for families in the Northwest by helping children gain their independence, boost their self-confidence and reach their individual potential. Stick 'n' Step offers a safe space for children to learn how to do things differently through repeated messages while offering respite to their families while they are on session. The impact of the support the charity delivers is so tangible it can be seen almost instantly as children leave their sessions with huge smiles on their faces having learned new skills that day. This impact provides such a tremendous motivation to the staff team; joining the team at Stick 'n' Step is being part of something truly special.

About the role

Stick 'n' Step already have established relationships within trusts and foundations; however, they have big plans to diversify their portfolio and reach a larger range of supporters. To do this, they are looking for a Trusts and Grants Fundraising Manager to join the team. In your role, you'll meet and exceed their trusts and grants targets through fundraising proposals. Your day to day will involve preparing compelling written applications, reports, and thank you letters, and supporting the stewardship of donors, along with working with the classroom team to research and identify impact stories, case studies, images and videos to include in your applications. As part of your role, you'll work closely with an amazing Chief Executive and Head of Conductive Education.

About you

This role will suit a skilled relationship builder and communicator with experience writing successful and compelling fundraising applications. You'll need a track record of meeting income targets and the ability to present to a high standard.

You'll also need to have strong organisational skills, with experience in planning and prioritising multiple projects at once. You'll be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. You'll also be someone who is able to project gravitas and credibility to high level supporters.
