The Role:

As a Supporter Care Assistant, you will play a vital role within the Fundraising team, providing excellent care to supporters. Your efforts will ensure they feel appreciated and continue to support our client's mission. You will also collaborate closely with the Database and Insight team to process income and maintain the accuracy and integrity of supporter data on the fundraising database.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supporter Care Strategy: Assist in delivering the Supporter Care strategy by working collaboratively with internal teams and third parties to ensure activities are completed on time, within budget, and meet agreed KPIs.
  • Supporter Communication: Serve as the main contact for supporter enquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and accurate responses following agreed processes.
  • Gift Administration: Execute gift administration tasks and acknowledgements promptly, collaborating with CRM & Insight, Finance, and Fundraising & Communications teams.
  • Data Management: Work with the CRM & Insight team to maintain the accuracy and data integrity of Raiser's Edge, updating supporter information as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with Fundraising Regulator requirements, IOF Codes of Practice, and GDPR.
  • Collaboration: Foster positive working relationships with staff across the organisation.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and security of information in line with organisational policies.
  • Values and Inclusion: Demonstrate commitment to equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Essential requirements:

  • Solid experience in supporter care and administrative functions.
  • Experience using Raiser's Edge.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and manage financial administration tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Knowledge of data protection and fundraising practices.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
