The Social Switch Project
The Social Switch project is an exciting and innovative partnership between Redthread, Catch22, and VRU (Violence Reduction Unit), which aims to deal with the opportunities, and the challenges, of how young and at-risk people use social media.
Strand 1 will deliver accredited training each year to a minimum of 375 London based frontline practitioners and trusted adults (Teachers, Youth Workers, Parents, Carers, Police). This will focus on understanding the challenges and opportunities of the online space, and supporting young people to be better equipped and educated, for a safer online journey.
Strand 2 will support a minimum of 358 young people aged 16-30 each year, who may be at risk of, or have experienced, serious violence, exploitation, and/or grooming. The project equips young people with the skills and personalised mentorship needed to gain sustainable careers in the digital and surrounding sectors, whilst also offering interventions for young women and girls, focusing on how they can protect themselves from online abuse and exploitation, and how to recognise and report it.
About the role
Social Switch Project Practitioner Training
The Social Switch Project has developed a full day digital youth work training programme, for front-line professionals, who are working with young people in a range of capacities, in London. The training is a free one-day interactive course, and refresher training, which will give professionals the confidence to deal with the challenges, and the opportunities, of social media.
Predominantly working on Strand 1, you will be responsible for the facilitation of this training, to a maximum of 30 professionals over the course of a full day, with multiple training events taking place throughout the year.
You will also lead on delivery for Strand 2, in supporting the development of young people's key employment skills. This training has been designed in partnership with young people who have lived experience of the topic, and so part of your role will be to incorporate them into the training, and support them to make a valuable contribution to the session.
About you
- Knowledgeable of the social media, gaming, and online space, from the perspective of young people and children's safeguarding.
- Experienced in designing and delivery training for professionals, with the ability to engage targeted statutory and community groups, and driven to achieve high NPS with training delivery.
- High quality data input skills, with the ability to remain data compliant.
- Committed to ED&I, and experienced in Safeguarding.
Main Duties and Accountabilities
- Delivering high quality, engaging, presentations and training sessions to London based professionals who are working with young people in the youth sector, and delivering workshops and sessions so small cohorts of young people who are engaging in the Strand 2 element of Social Switch.
- Maintaining relationships with existing and new relationships with key stakeholders and youth organisations to maximise engagement in future delivery, and ensuring that the training elements are relevant to, and accessible to, a wide range of practitioners and grass-roots organisations.
- Working with the Service Manager and Social Switch team to monitor training success, incorporating feedback as and when it occurs, and ensuring that the training remains dynamic and engaging. Supporting the youth facilitators to share lived experience throughout the training, making valuable contributions to the overall sessions.
- Demonstrating effective forward planning, organising, and time management, to meet anticipated workloads and delivery targets and objectives. Working with the Service Manager to reach individual, team, and annual targets, based on youth provisions in London.
- Remaining up to date with the latest developments in social media, and its relationship with youth violence, incorporating learning into the training.
- Monitoring volume of sign-ups generated, and adjusting recruitment plans to maximise participation in the training programme.
Qualifications
- A relevant teaching/training qualification, or extensive practical experience of delivering training.
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of social media, and how young people interact with it.
- Experience of delivering engaging and dynamic creative training programmes to a variety of audiences, on a variety of topics, monitoring success, incorporating feedback, and ensuring that training is relevant and accessible to participants.
- Strong team worker, with the ability to provide support to other members of staff, and youth facilitators.
Salary: £30,750 per annum
Hours of work: Full time, 37 hours per week

Flexibility: Hybrid working (1-2 days in our London office, 3-4 days working from home)

The Role:
The Royal Foundation’s Homewards programme is seeking a motivated, results-driven Strategic Employment Lead to unlock better job and training opportunities to end homelessness.
This role will drive national commitments and support local teams in building sustainable structures across six key locations to deliver. You’ll have the chance to transform how employment and training prevent homelessness, with the aim of creating scalable models in the UK and internationally. In the first year, we expect the Employment Lead to establish lasting local structures and secure significant national commitments.

Roles and responsibilities
• Lead, shape and deliver the Employment strategy as part of The Royal Foundation’s Homewards programme
• Work with a range of partners - experts, locations and the private sector - to design and leverage major national commitments for job, training and skills opportunities across our locations. These will deliver on local Action Plans (the Homewards locations’ roadmaps to preventing and ending homelessness) and the Employment Lead will need to use the TRF platform sensitively but for greatest impact.
• Shape and support our locations to establish sustainable long-term structures to deliver on these commitments and build a thriving local ecosystem of employment and training opportunities to end homelessness
• Support Homewards location teams to deliver local employment models and opportunities, identified as priority work in the Local Action Plans, leveraging partners as necessary to deliver
• Work closely with other leads, specifically the Finance Lead and Homes Lead, ensuring a joined-up approach which delivers maximum impact.
• Work across the Homewards team to prioritise, co-develop and deliver the strategy, ensuring the approach is backed by a robust delivery plan
• Feed into wider Strategic Delivery approach and Homewards strategy as an expert in the Employment field.
Relevant Knowledge, Experience, and Personal Qualities
• Significant experience operating at a senior level with major businesses to deliver impact - ideally with a focus on employment, skills and/or training and understanding of that market; and experience working at a local and national level to deliver impact
• Creative thinker, with the ability to see the ‘big picture’ and desire to drive systemic change - understanding of the role TRF could play and a vision of what systemic change could look like when it comes to unlocking job opportunities to end homelessness
• Experience delivering strategic projects and new partnerships, ideally working with the private sector and with multiple stakeholders, to create lasting social impact
• Confident leader who can support and empower the Homewards team to confidently engage in this area
• Self-starter and desire to collaborate - we’re a lean team who matrix work and person would need to be up for pitching in!

AllChild is seeking to recruit an Impact Officer who will take a key role in using data to drive impact and support decision-making. The Team
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by the organisation in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
About the Role
We are looking for two Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, attraction and the onboarding and training of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the country. These will be dedicated, regional roles where you will support the scale up of the IPS workforce in your designated region. The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
About You
You will have:
• Experience of recruitment within the healthcare system or substantial involvement in healthcare-related recruitment is essential. This includes interviewing, evaluating candidates and making hiring recommendations.
• Experience in delivering training programs and workshops, with a focus on adult learning principles and effective onboarding practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are essential. You will need the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Deep understanding of fundraising regulations and best practices within the charity sector.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to assess and report on compliance.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Previous experience in the charity sector or with non-profit organisations is highly desirable.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a car is an advantage for travel requirements.

- You will be coordinating an innovative tenant-led partnership in Manchester, called Ageing Well in Place in Hulme. This is a rare opportunity to work on a genuinely tenant-led co-creation partnership that is achieving significant community mobilisation and positive outcomes among social housing tenants.
- You will work together with tenant committees and older and vulnerable people in high rise social housing accommodation to encourage social participation, build confidence and capacity, and facilitate peer support and leadership development.
