Job description

The Talent Set is delighted to partner with a fantastic international development charity to recruit a strategic and proactive Corporate Partnerships Manager. In this role, the successful candidate will build long-term partnerships that generate significant funds, ensuring income targets are met while continuously identifying opportunities for growth. The postholder will design and execute strategies aimed at high-value, impactful partnerships that provide benefits beyond financial support, contributing to the charity's mission by advancing both programmatic and policy objectives. This is primarily an account management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an income and expenditure budget exceeding £1 million for assigned partnerships, including oversight of budgets for any partnerships.
  • Build strong knowledge of partner companies and sectors, managing relationships with key contacts, and addressing any ethical concerns or risks that arise.
  • Track partnership KPIs, ensure high-quality reporting for funded programs, and maintain accurate financial and CRM records.
  • Line manage one direct report and work closely with internal teams, to ensure smooth governance and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with the team to secure new corporate supporters, attend pitch meetings, and represent the charity at conferences and external events.


Person Specification:

  • A proven track record in managing and growing corporate partnerships, including complex, high-value, multi-layered partnerships.
  • Ability to demonstrate how you’ve grown corporate partnerships within other organisations
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and diplomacy skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels and across diverse industries and cultures.
  • Skilled in partnership governance, risk management, and leading cross-departmental project teams.
  • Experienced in crafting engaging proposals and reports for corporate audiences and presenting to senior stakeholders.
