Job description

At The Centre for Emotional Health our vision is “Everyone living an emotionally healthy life.” We promote an approach to life and relationships that equips and supports individuals, families, communities and organisations to be emotionally healthy.

We do this by:

·        Carrying out research and using our strong evidence base to develop and deliver training courses and programmes using a relational approach to family and community life.

·        Promoting awareness and understanding of emotional health.

·        Working in community settings such as local authorities, children centred projects, prisons, and health and social work settings to create emotionally healthy environments where everyone can thrive.

·        Working with schools, colleges, and other educational settings to create relational cultures which positively impact the adults and children within the school community and beyond.

·        Growing, developing and refining our evidence base so that we can continue to respond to need and to achieve our mission.

Since 1997, we have reached over 1.4m people through our work and have trained over 40,000 professionals. Our relationship-centred approach means we work in a collaborative way and in partnership wherever possible. We have recently changed our name to The Centre for Emotional Health (from Family Links, The Centre for Emotional Health) and the aim is that this will afford us additional and new training and partnership opportunities in potentially different sectors.

As a result of our growth and development we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Impact and Research Coordinator. This is a new role that will be an important part of a recently redeveloped strategy for measuring our impact.

Reporting to the Strategic Head of Impact and Research, you will play a key role in coordinating and implementing our research and impact strategies. This includes helping to conduct research to evaluating the effectiveness and impact of our training programs.

Your work will help us measure and amplify our impact and help more people to live emotionally healthy lives.

We are committed to furthering equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

Benefits include:

  • 25 days annual leave per year
  • Additional day of leave per year as an Emotional Health Day
  • Life Assurance Cover
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Flexible Working
  • Employer pension contributions of 7% annual salary per annum
