Locality and Community Engagement Coordinator

We are looking for someone to join the Pan London Street Homeless Services working within our Spring Gardens service, a busy service accommodating around 100 clients.
Working in the role of Locality and Community Engagement Coordinator your aim will be to enhance and develop working practices and culture across the service; working with staff, clients and the local community to build awareness and understanding, maintain long lasting and positive relationships to support our ambition that everyone should have a place to call home and fulfil their hopes and ambitions. You will work hard to increase engagement and collaboration, reduce incidents and Anti-Social Behavior (ASB) which will ultimately benefit clients and the local community.
This role is Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.
About you
We are looking for someone with experience of working with people who have experienced homelessness and/or social exclusion, you will also have some experience of developing strategic partnerships and productive working relationships with a range of external and internal partners and stakeholders.
You’re excellent communication skills and ability to work with others whilst managing your own time, are as important as your ability to provide training to empower staff and volunteers to make positive changes to working practices to support St Mungo’s clients and the community. You will also have a good working knowledge of a range if IT applications.
Above all we are looking for inspirational, committed individuals who have a genuine desire to get involved in the aims of the service and create positive change.
