An exciting opportunity has arisen to join SSAFA’s ambitious and dynamic Corporate Partnerships team. We are looking for an experienced and highly proactive Corporate Partnerships Manager to manage and grow our portfolio of strategic partnerships.

About the role

We are looking for someone to lead on the successful delivery of corporate partnerships. It will be your responsibility to deliver the account management elements, ensuring all commitments are delivered whilst identifying opportunities to increase the value of long-standing relationships.

Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you will plan and execute an annual programme of content, reporting, volunteering, fundraising activities, and events to ensure the objectives of the partnership are achieved.

You will work proactively on new business approaches and delivering powerful impactful presentations on the benefits of supporting SSAFA with the aim of securing long term support.

You will attend networking and engagement events or partner events and undertake presentations around what SSAFA do and how partnerships can be formed and developed.

About you

We are seeking an experienced senior officer or manager who brings significant account management experience and is target driven, a self-starter and has a record of growing long-term partnerships as well as being successful in bringing on new relationships. If you have excellent communication and relationship building skills along with the initiative to maximise every opportunity within a partnership, then we would love to hear from you.

We are keen to find the right person for the role, and therefore happy to discuss flexible working patterns such as compressed hours or early/late start times. You will need regularly represent the charity at events and visit the offices of corporate partners so flexibility and the willingness to travel is essential.

SSAFA, is a trusted source of support for the Armed Forces community in their time of need; last year our trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 53,000 people in need, including veterans, serving personnel (regulars and reserves) and their families.
