About the Role
The Retail Business Manager, South provides a new opportunity to be a part of the evolution of Save the Children Retail.
This role will play a pivotal part in leading and inspiring change, motivating teams, bringing the Save the Children culture and our vision to life.
This role will be vital in providing clarity and direction with regards to how we operate (see our How Our Shops Operate document attached), guiding and engaging shop teams to drive the business to optimum operational success, as well as harnessing commerciality and embracing localism in line with each shop's proposition.
The current shops you'll manage include Sidmouth, Totnes, Clapham, and Lymington but please note that these shops/locations will change as the business evolves.

About the role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to secure new corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals.
Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. You will be part of a team to drive Rainbow Trust’s Corporate income, building and maintaining the pipeline through effective networking, prospecting, and stewardship. You will be responsible for a varied and fulfilling portfolio of accounts to whom you will become a main contact and provide excellent corporate account management. Key Responsibilities
- Leading the development and delivery of GamCare's remote services, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and service targets.

About You
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader with a proven track record of managing large-scale remote services, ideally within a helpline or digital support setting. You will have extensive experience in leading multi-functional teams, both staff and volunteers, and a strong ability to develop and implement strategic plans. Your deep understanding of safeguarding, coupled with expertise in business planning, change management, and relationship building, will ensure you can lead in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
You will be passionate about making a difference to those affected by gambling harm, with a strong commitment to staff wellbeing and retention. With excellent communication, data analysis, and IT skills, you will be able to guide continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery, working closely with partners to enhance the reach and impact of GamCare's remote services.

About the role
We need someone to come and join us to focus on Corporate Fundraising. You’ll have a track record of fundraising which has resulted in significant donations. You’ll need to meet challenging targets through a wide variety of methods - donations, sponsorships, GAYE, CSR/ESG, cause related marketing, Charity of the Year, employee fundraising, match funding and long-term strategic partnerships as well as develop our Celebrity Ambassadors and stewardship. Summary of main responsibilities and accountabilities
Partnership Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Business Development
· Working alongside the Tees & Tyne Regional Manager to respond to the needs of the programme, ensuring that our young people have meaningful encounters with a range of employers from a diversity of industries and sectors.
· Day-to-day operational account management for employer supporters, ensuring they have excellent experiences.
· Full partnership and operational account management for lower-level funders in your region.
· Promote the contribution of Career Ready and awareness of Career Ready to potential supporters and assist in engaging their commitment to give both practical and financial support.
· Engaging new corporate, third and public sector organisations to directly support the programme delivery, working with the Head of Programmes to launch and grow the Tees & Tyne Regional Action Board
· Work with the Programmes and Partnership and Incomes teams to develop and deliver the overall employer engagement strategy for the area ensuring that the number of mentors is matched with the paid internship commitment and that employer volunteers are in place for masterclass delivery and workplace visits.
· Working with the Partnership Manager leading the relationship with BP to help generate leads with local businesses that are connected to BP’s activity in the region.
