The need for good mental health support is growing, as are our funding needs and ambitions. This newly created position of Relationship Fundraising Manager is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative fundraising team as we look to develop major donor fundraising further.

The role will be responsible for overseeing all individual donor relationships, with a focus on major gifts. This includes developing and implementing a major donor strategy, as well as assisting the Head of Fundraising with corporate fundraising. You will be encouraged to use your experience and skills to shape the role, making a difference to the lives of hundreds of people attending Oakleaf every month for support.

Position: Relationship Fundraising Manager

International Programmes Manager: Local First

Salary: £43,000 p.a.

The role

About the role

The Regional Supply Chain Operations Manager (RSCOM)2 is part of the Programme Supply Chain (PSC) team. This role supports programme teams and Country Offices (COs) in supply chain management and compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

The RSCOM 2 WARO position is field-based and works with other regional roles to provide support to the Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana, and Liberia COs. This includes helping with planning, procurement, logistics, and custom clearance, ensuring adherence to PSC, Quality Management System (QMS), and GDP operating standards.

The goal is to build the capacity of COs in procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring Sightsavers’ programmes and COs are well-resourced and risks to the organization’s reputation are managed.

Principal Accountabilities

• Understand Sightsavers’ operating models and PSC requirements, focusing on planning, GDP standards, and best practices across WARO COs.
• Collaborate with the Controller PSC and other RSCOMs to support WARO COs and programme teams in planning, procurement, and supply chain management.
• Assist WARO COs in applying the PSC system and QMS, understanding UK regulations for WDA (H) licence, GDP guidelines, and national regulations.
• Develop solutions for programme supply chain management at CO and field levels, providing expert advice to resolve supply chain issues.
• Create a  training plan and visit schedule to address Regional Director (RD) priorities and CO SC risk profiles.
• Work with the Controller PSC to develop tools for capacity building in supply chain management for WARO COs or programme partners.
• Provide robust support to WARO COs, frequently visiting countries to enhance performance, compliance, and capacity building.
• Collaborate with central teams to ensure COs’ supply chain needs comply with organisational procedures and programme demands.

Principal Outputs

• Provide the key point of contact for WARO CO staff to assist with the application of the QMS, supplier qualification, SC planning, advice regarding audit and compliance, and leading on day-to-day support and periodic reviews.
• Provide general advice and the conduit for developing the wider PSC team understanding of CO challenges and requirements 
• Advise SCMs regarding country specific use of local suppliers, storage sites and/or transport routes, etc
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required

About the role

Can you help us?
We are seeking an experienced administrator to join the team supporting the work of the Clinical Quality portfolio and its four committees. Specifically, the postholder will provide support to the running of the Clinical Quality Board, the Clinical Standards Committee, the Quality Assurance and Surveillance Committee and the SRH Research Group.

About You

You may have previously worked in youth and community work, social work, counselling, education or healthcare settings.

Ideally you will have:

- Experience of working with young or vulnerable adults

- To be prepared to live in one person accommodation (provided)
- The flexibility to live anywhere within the UK or overseas for prolonged periods of time, i.e. two years
- Basic IT skills
- A full, valid driving licence
- A valid UK passport

You will also need:

- To demonstrate flexibility to relocate at short notice, be self-motivated and approachable
- To demonstrate proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
- To possess time-management, planning and prioritisation abilities

A relevant qualification in an area such as youth work, social work, teaching or similar, would be beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of the military environment but this is not a deal breaker!

This is a new part-time role combining operational management of our small office based in Central London, with supporting and developing the governance activities of an ambitious and growing charity.

Ways of Working: On-site – this role will be based in the Chester shop. The shop is currently open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm. We're looking for someone able to work 5 days (35 hours) per week to include some weekend working.
