The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Head of Policy to help us achieve real impact by leading policy design, implementation and influence across the organisation to ensure an impactful, inclusive and evidence-led approach to social change. The postholder will be responsible for leading on two or more of our Design for Life interventions, which sit within our Prosperous Places portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated by ambitious targets, taking a test and learn approach to achieving impact, and driving system-level change.

This role is based from RSA House in London for at least three days per week, with hybrid flexibility for the remaining days.

About You

What we look for in a successful Head of Policy candidate:

• Excitement and interest in designing, implementing and refining.
• Deep knowledge of research and practice-led policy design and development including diverse approaches to shaping and shifting policy at local and national scale
• Experience in a policy focused role, working within local or national government to create, change and deliver new policies to deliver better economic, social and environmental outcomes
• Commitment to impactful external partnerships and profile.
