Job description
Are you an experienced People Administration Manager seeking a new opportunity? Would you like to be part of the HR team within a leading UK charity? We would love to hear from you!

We have the opportunity for a People Administration Manager to join our People & Organisational Development directorate and lead an existing team of People Coordinators.

This busy team works in conjunction with, and provides administrative support for, a number of business areas including Payroll, People Systems, Resourcing, People Business Partners and Employee Relations across RBL, Poppyscotland and The National Memorial Arboretum.

Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

The focus of this role will see you leading and managing our team of People Coordinators, ensuring regulation, compliance and internal procedures are met, whilst also driving improvements and ensuring an exceptional level of customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Review the work of the team to ensure all new and existing employee records are accurate, compliant, kept up to date and saved in the agreed format
- Manage and own seamless on-boarding and off-boarding processes
- Regularly review, monitor and develop administration procedures and systems
- Act as the escalation point for complex administration or onboarding queries and taking personal responsibility to ensure these are resolved
- Provide insights to key stakeholders on trends of work, looking at RBL wide or Directorate specific issues
- Develop quality control measures to ensure the integrity of data

Your experience supervising/managing teams previously will be well utilised and you will be eager to continuously coach and develop others. You will have solid current employment law knowledge and will be confident in HR best practice and offering pragmatic solutions.
Here at RBL, we aim to support our people and their wellbeing, with a package including generous paid holiday allowance and pension scheme contributions, and a range of optional benefits and discounts.

You will be contracted to our London, Haig House, Hub. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, but with a minimum expectation of two days/week connecting directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub (with preferably one Hub working day to be a Tuesday).

We value work-life balance and are committed to creating a supportive, flexible working environment. We understand that everyone has different needs, which is why we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements within our 35 hour work week.
