Over the past few years, Families in Grief (FiG) has grown significantly to meet the needs of our North Devon and Torridge community. We have just completed a piece of work to expand our reach, enhance our accessibility to healthcare professionals and schools, and broaden our range of services to better support children, young people and families who have been bereaved. We are now looking for an experienced leader with a passion for making a difference to continue this work.

Our aims:

• To provide a credible and high-quality bereavement support service to all grieving families children, young people and families in need of our help.
• To better educate and support professionals who come into contact with bereaved children and young people.
• To improve family relationships after a member of the family dies, to reduce bereaved families' feelings of social isolation, to improve a child or young person’s engagement with school and the wider community for families to learn further about the impact of grief.
• To ensure all families and professionals working with families in North Devon and the Torridge area are aware of FiG’s services.

• Continue to shape the vision: leading FiG with clarity and purpose, ensuring the charity remains responsive to the needs of bereaved families in Northern Devon.
• Drive strategy: collaborating with the Board to develop and implement a rolling 3-year strategic plan that aligns with FiG’s goals and adapts to changing needs. Champion innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring the charity thrives in a dynamic environment.
• Inspire teams: providing inspirational leadership to employees and volunteers, fostering a culture of collaboration, compassion, and excellence.
• Impact focus: regularly evaluating and refining FiG’s strategy to maximize its impact, delivering meaningful, sustainable support to the community.
• Operational and Financial Management: ensure smooth day-to-day office logistics, manage budgets, oversee financial processes and health and safety in order to ensure compliance with all charity requirements

The role:

A position has become available for a part time Executive Assistant to join our friendly team based in Southampton. The Role

The Supporter Journey Team is responsible for delivering world-class behavioural journeys for our charity partners.

You will ensure that we are continuously providing the best supporter journeys in the sector by designing, building, delivering and optimising omni-channel behavioural journeys at scale, in turn delivering value to our clients.

Working across both Social Mind and Social Sync, you will join an existing team reporting into our Campaign Manager and you will ensure all our charity partners and their supporters receive personal, bespoke communications to maximise fundraising for our charity partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development:
  • Develop comprehensive, integrated journeys for supporters across multiple channels.
  • Ensure these journeys are behavioural and provide a great stewardship experience for supporters.
• Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of supporter journeys.
  • Analyse key metrics to assess the contribution of these journeys to overall goals, for example, email open and click through rates.
• Optimisation and Supporter Experience:
  • Identify areas for improvement within existing journeys.
  • Propose and implement enhancements based on testing and learning outcomes.
  • React to key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint opportunities for journey improvements to help drive campaign performance and income.
  • Make data-driven decisions to refine and improve the journeys.
  • Commit to delivering a high-quality experience for all supporters.
  • Address and resolve any issues impacting supporter satisfaction promptly.

Skills and Knowledge

• Experience of designing, creating and delivering outstanding supporter experiences that increase engagement, fundraising rates and average value.
• Ability to understand our charity partners objectives and translating that into exceptional supporter experiences at scale.
• Ability to analyse data and make recommendations that improve fundraising and the supporter experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience of writing stewardship copy and ability to adopt different charity’s tone of voice.

This role sits within the Community Education and Training team, working to support our learners to access, complete and progress through our wide range of adult learning provision. The main focus will be on providing additional support for learners who need wrap-around support relating to a range of additional personal and educational needs. This could include welfare, personal and family support and wider mental health and wellbeing support or additional learning needs such as dyslexia, ADHD, literacy support and other needs.

You will work with the team to implement strategies and support plans for individuals to aid learning and enhance educational experience. You will support the team’s administrator to monitor learner’s attendance, contacting them via phone, email or arranging a meeting in person where pastoral support is needed.

You will work with our Adult Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding cases across our departments, including keeping safeguarding records, making referrals and building a database of local support services available to learners and other service users.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting learners to ensure they have the best opportunity to thrive on their learning journey.

You will also support wider functions in the team such as contributing to the organisation of our termly learners’ forum to celebrate achievement and attending events in the community to publicise our work.

Having recently won a major national award for Fundraising Team of the Year at the annual Third Sector awards, East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is now seeking an outstanding income generation leader to help realise it’s ambitions of reaching more children, young people and families across the East Anglian region that need our care.

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Fundraising and Marketing & Communications to join the executive leadership team at EACH. This role offers flexibility to work from any of our three hospices at Milton near Cambridge, The Treehouse in Ipswich and The Nook, near Norwich, combined with hybrid working.

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) provides specialist care for babies, children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk and supports their families. You will have the incredible opportunity to translate our powerful narrative, outstanding achievements, and ambitious plans to all touchpoints on social, working directly with our programmatic and marketing teams and the Co-Founder. You'll build and grow our engagement and conversions by tailoring content to our different audiences.

Working alongside our external agency and the Digital Marketing Lead, you will also be proactively engaged in our paid social activity.

The Social Media Officer will need to have the energy and hands-on attitude to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment with strong focus on outstanding content, accuracy and performance. Responsibilities & Duties

Job Title: Events Fundraising Officer

Reports to:  Challenge Events Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9-5pm (including some evening and weekends)

Location: Hybrid (home-based and Alton, Hampshire two days a week)

Salary:         £27,000- £29,000 (depending on experience)

Role purpose: You will be leading on a number of the charity’s large events, overseeing on the day event logistics, marketing, planning and fundraiser stewardship. All with the aim of increasing potential income from participants.

Outside of specific fundraising projects, you will be responsible for building long term relationships with a wide range of supporters across challenge initiatives alongside third party suppliers. You will be expected to respond to enquiries as they come in and ensuring the best customer experience possible. You will also lend your experience and skills to supporting the wider fundraising plans. 

Role context: Kidney Care UK is the leading kidney patient support charity. We have an ambition to engage and support more kidney patients over the next three years. Our fundraising strategy will play an integral role in allowing us to reach more kidney patients than ever before.  

You will report to the Challenge Event Manager as your direct report.

The Fundraising team is part of the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications Directorate, led by the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications.

The Head of Fundraising & Communication is responsible for the generation of funds for Kintsugi Hope by a variety of income streams and for ensuring the Kintsugi Hope brand and services are marketed throughout the UK. This will involve managing a Fundraisng Manager and Communications Manager and collaborating with the wider team to ensure success. A key outcome is that the annual fundraising target is achieved. 

Main Responsibilities: 

·Lead and oversee the Fundraising & Communications function, including line management of the Fundraising Manager, and Communications Manager.

·Accountable for growing income year on year in line with operational plan targets.

·Accountable for acquisition and retention of regular donors in line with operational plan targets.

·Accountable for ensuring a clear plan is in place to achieve the income targets.

·Responsible for oversight of communication to donors that inspires and engages them to continue to support the charity financially.

·Responsible for own major donor caseload, including communication and impact reporting

Are you passionate about data and keen to play a key role in supporting impactful communication strategies? We are seeking a Data Selections Officer to join our Data and Insight team. This role is vital to the delivery of our communications programme by understanding our campaign activity and delivering targeted data selections. 

As a Data Selections Officer, you will work closely with various teams across the organisation, gathering data requirements and ensuring that selections align with campaign goals. You will manage the scheduling and delivery of complex targeted data segmentations and selections for campaign activities across direct mail, telephone, email, SMS, and social media channels.  Additionally, you'll be responsible for building and managing complex data segmentations, making sure all outputs comply with data protection regulations and internal policies.

You'll also manage and maintain automated supporter journeys using our campaign management tools. This involves streamlining processes and ensuring efficiency in how data is selected and utilised.

A key part of your role will be providing ad-hoc reports to support various business needs, including campaign planning and funding applications. Your input will help to ensure that all data-driven activities meet our strategic goals and reflect our core values.

What are we looking for?

You will need to be detail-orientated with advanced experience in working with relational databases and large datasets, ideally using systems like Dynamics 365 or Raiser's Edge. You should have a strong background in delivering complex data selections using campaign management tools such as FastStats, PeopleStage, or Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.

Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation, is essential, as is a solid understanding of data protection regulations and fundraising compliance.

You'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Attention to detail and data integrity is crucial, along with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Legacy Officer to join our Legacies team. This is the ideal role for someone looking to gain more experience in legacy fundraising, and for someone who wants to make a difference to our communities when time matters most.
