Job description
MAIN TASKS AND DUTIES:
- To liaise regularly with all New Pathways volunteers
- To provide support and advice to volunteers
- To assist in the marketing of volunteering opportunities with New Pathways
- To assist in the recruitment of new volunteers
- To assist in the training of new volunteers
- To maintain accurate records relating to volunteers
- To identify any issues or problems relating to volunteers and to liaise with managers to help to resolve these issues
- To work towards Volunteering quality standards award (“Investing in Volunteers Standard”)
- To provide administrative support for the Volunteer Project
- To regularly update information on the New Pathways website
- To produce regular reports on the Volunteer Project for managers and Board Members
- To work with other members of New Pathways to ensure best practice and continued development
- To liaise with other organisations, and attend meetings, as required
- To participate in the consultancy and research activities of New Pathways
- To undertake relevant training as required.
- To undertake any other duties the manager may request when necessary
- When working at office locations, offer a welcoming and non-judgemental environment to all service users and participate in office upkeep/safety related tasks.
