Mind's Partnership and Philanthropy Fundraising team - part of the wider Fundraising directorate - is responsible for generating income from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations, the statutory and corporate sectors. In these unprecedented and challenging times, Mind is and will be needed more than ever. Our high achieving team plays a vital part in ensuring income to deliver our strategy. Working alongside other directorates, the team is goal focused and results oriented.
Key duties and responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and experienced individual, with a proven track record of generating and managing grant income from statutory and institutional sources.
They will support Mind in delivering a significant element of its overall income generation by securing and growing national statutory grant funding, in line with business plan needs and in close collaboration with relevant staff.
They will lead the national coordination and delivery of complex and high value institutional funding proposals from identification through to submission, in close collaboration with cross organisational teams, contributing to meeting our ambitious organisational restricted income targets.
Reporting to the Head of Grants and Philanthropy, they will lead on high value reactive bids and take responsibility for targeted proactive applications as well as managing high value grant partnerships.
They will manage key relationships with statutory and institutional partners, as well as coordinating cross-organisational responses to large / high value opportunities.
They will take responsibility for managing and developing internal processes such as a grant management risk register.
