Job description

Interim Diversity Business Partner
Location:
Birmingham, Bath Row, B15 1LZ
Salary: £62,824 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week, Full Time
Contract Type: Temporary / 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and innovative Diversity specialist to join our award-winning HR team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a key role tasked with the ongoing development and embedding of diversity across our organisation and continuing to realise the business benefits of doing so.

With proven experience in delivering business outcomes through developing a diverse workforce, you’ll be able to advance and promote knowledge, expertise and practice of diversity and inclusion, demonstrating the difference great people management and diversity can make in improving productivity and performance.

The role will be stretching and require a mix of hands-on delivery and strategic leadership. You’ll be innovative and be able to think outside the box in terms of embedding a culture of inclusion. You’ll have knowledge of the wider HR agenda gained through generalist HR experience, especially with a good grounding in the law and best practice but, more importantly, be pragmatic and able to continue to sell the business case for developing diversity. You’ll have the ability to influence and engage people at all levels to make change happen.

Our colleagues deliver services from the location that they are best delivered on any given day. This means that you should expect to work from a Midland Heart site as a minimum 3 days week (on average).

Who are Midland Heart? We’re one team working together for our tenants. We welcome people from every walk of life, at every stage of their career. We expect a lot from our people but in return you can be assured of a great place to work, where you will be well rewarded and where great people are able to succeed. Whether you want to build your career with us, or use your experience to move on, we’re here to develop your potential.

Applications close at midnight on 14th July 2024.
Suitable candidates will be invited to participate in an assessment, currently scheduled to take place on 24th July 2024.
