As a PS Data Analyst at Mencap, you'll be at the heart of our mission, transforming raw data into powerful insights that drive impactful decisions. You'll be the bridge between data and action, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, create compelling reports, and develop innovative dashboards that bring our data to life. Your work will empower our teams to evaluate their activities, track trends like sickness and turnover, and continuously improve our systems to better serve our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Stewardship: Work with our PS data and product owners to ensure the quality and governance of our data. You'll be the go-to expert on maintaining data integrity and ensuring our systems are reliable and efficient.

Insightful Reporting: Analyse and interpret data, creating accessible reports that tell a compelling story. Your dashboards will not just present numbers but will drive action by highlighting trends and suggesting improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across Mencap to understand their reporting needs. You'll provide tailored insights that support evidence-based decision-making and help drive improvements across the organization.

Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo by identifying areas where reporting can be improved. You'll use feedback proactively to refine our processes, ensuring the data we use is always accurate, engaging, and meaningful.

Agile Working: Embrace a flexible and responsive approach to your work, facilitating quick developments and ensuring our systems evolve to meet user needs.

Education & Advocacy: Educate your colleagues on trends you identify through analytics, providing expertise that drives effective communication and better decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

  • A passion for data and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Confidence in working with large datasets and a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
