This is a key role where you will lead and develop the Foundation’s Fundraising strategy to support the delivery of our charitable objectives and strategic aims. Working with internal colleagues and external funders, you will ensure we secure sufficient income to deliver practical impact through our services.

You will work with collaboratively with stakeholders to create compelling funding applications and lead the fundraising activity to ensure efficient processes and maximisation of opportunity.

Key areas of focus include Arts, Culture & Heritage; Environment & Wellbeing; Community impact and social change, some knowledge and a keen interest in this area is key. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience of working in a fundraising role, with experience of developing and implementing a fundraising strategy and evaluating its effectiveness.
  • Experience of writing Cases for Support and presenting compelling advocacy materials to support a fundraising strategy
  • Experience of researching grant opportunities as well as developing tools and resources to support grant applications
  • Experience of managing funder communications and relations
  • Track record of securing and managing multi-year revenue funding with annual targets of £250k upwards.
