Urban Youth is an inspiring grassroots youth work charity based in London, dedicated to transforming the lives of young people through engaging and empowering community initiatives. As a start-up organisation currently pending registration as a charity, we are fuelled by the passion and commitment of our volunteers who believe in the potential of every young person.

Our mission is to create a safe and positive environment where young individuals can explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.

Get Involved

Your involvement can make a real impact by being responsible for the financial management and controls of Urban Youth, supporting our new youth work charity ensuring financial stability and transparency.

As our Treasurer and Trustee on the Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for;

• Monitoring the financial health of the charity, including budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
• Maintaining accurate financial records, including receipts, invoices, and bank statements.
• Preparing regular financial reports for the board of trustees and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in developing fundraising strategies and managing funds raised through donations, grants, and other sources.
• Ensuring the charity complies with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax filings and audits.
• Providing financial advice to the board and helping to make informed decisions about the charity's financial future.
