Are you a dynamic communications leader with a passion for storytelling and a knack for building high-profile visibility? The King’s Trust International is searching for an experienced Head of Communications to shape and elevate our brand and bring to life the unforgettable moments at our flagship events. This mission-critical role is essential for strengthening our profile and reputation.

 

About the Role

As Head of Communications, you'll play a key role in designing and implementing communications strategies for King’s Trust’s most celebrated events, including:

  • The Global Gala in New York City: Co-chaired by Lionel Richie and Edward Enninful, this annual event brings together VIPs from fashion, entertainment, philanthropy, and business to raise funds for global youth programs. With over $4 million raised in past years, the Global Gala garners worldwide media attention and amplifies our impact on young lives globally.
  • The King's Trust Awards and US Enterprise Challenge Finals: Following the Gala, you'll lead communications for the US Enterprise Challenge finals and provide ongoing support for the King’s Trust Awards and other events during a six-month term, with potential for a permanent position based on need and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic media plans for high-profile events
  • Lead press operations and manage media outreach to amplify The King’s Trust’s international mission and activities
  • Foster partnerships with key media outlets to maximize coverage
  • Create compelling narratives and materials to showcase the impact of our programs on youth worldwide
