Volunteer Grants Monitoring and Evaluations Officer

RollaDome All Skate is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Grants Monitoring and Evaluations Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of grants and projects, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and assessing the impact of our programs. You will work closely with the fundraising and management teams to track the progress of funded initiatives and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities 

• Grants Monitoring: Track and monitor all active grants to ensure compliance with funding requirements, timelines, and project deliverables. 

• Data Collection: Work with program teams to collect both quantitative and qualitative data related to the outcomes and impact of funded projects. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all grant-related activities. 

• Evaluation and Analysis: Analyze program performance and evaluate the effectiveness of projects funded by grants. Use data to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to maximize impact. 

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on grant progress, financial expenditure, and program outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that reports meet funder requirements and deadlines. 

• Compliance: Ensure all grant-funded projects comply with the agreed-upon terms and conditions. Flag any potential risks or issues and work with the management team to address them. 

• Liaison with Funders: Serve as the point of contact for funders, providing updates and responding to queries about funded projects. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with the fundraising team, program managers, and finance officers to ensure grant implementation aligns with organizational objectives. 

• Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure they efficiently track the impact of RollaDome’s programs and grants. 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. 

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, able to manage multiple grants and reporting deadlines. 

• Experience in monitoring and evaluation or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and liaise with stakeholders. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with data management tools. 

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team. 

• Knowledge or keen interest in nonprofit organizations and grant management. 

• Experience with impact reporting, financial tracking, or project management is a plus. 

Commitment
