Job description

As a Lepra Community Researcher, you will play a vital role in collating data and information on a range of community groups in the UK. This work will help the fundraising and communications team spread awareness about our organisation's mission and work nationwide. You will receive comprehensive training on Lepra, our methodologies, and effective ways to collate data for various groups and identify potential partners.

This is a volunteer position requiring a commitment of a minimum of 4 hours weekly, dedicated to research.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have the following interests and skills:

1. Passion for community engagement, social causes, and global health outreach

2. Accuracy and attention to detail for handling data and reporting research findings

3. Teamworking skills and the ability to work well independently

4. Confidence in using Microsoft office software and a range of digital tools and platforms

5. Flexible approach to work, ability to work on several different research projects simultaneously

6. Willingness to learn about Lepra, our mission and work

Key Responsibilities

1. Research and identify potential partners within the community

2. Collecting data and information accurately and efficiently

3. Analysing information and summarising research findings

4. Feedback research findings to volunteer manager

5. Collaborate with different fundraising teams on research projects
