Loneliness is something many young people are struggling with. If you are looking for a flexible volunteering opportunity where you can help build a supportive space for young people feeling alone, this is the role for you!
As a peer-supporter, you will become a core member of our online peer community and provide regular support to members of our community that are looking for people with similar experiences to talk to. This will involve you replying to posts providing active listening, giving your own thoughts, sharing experiences if you feel comfortable and giving words of encouragement. Sometimes, having a group of people you can trust to talk openly and honestly can be the key to making meaningful steps forward, whatever the issue.
This is an informal role with no minimum hours to commit to – volunteer as little or as much as you like. Once you sign up, we will be in touch to talk through next steps for your application.
