Recently, we joined the Andrew Simpson Group, ensuring our growth and sustainability.

Outreach Activities:

  • Develop effective outreach strategies with the Outreach and Communications Manager.
  • Lead local efforts to attract children of Naval families to our programmes.
  • Network with local communities and families to market opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for families and young participants.
  • Engage with families and provide pathways for participation.
  • Create supportive materials and report on local demand and opportunities.
  • Attend local events and networking opportunities to promote our initiatives.

Programme Support:

  • Provide support for event organization and delivery.
  • Assist in the smooth running of the office and administration of the programme.
  • Handle communications such as emails and phone calls effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Experience in fundraising.
  • Knowledge of office management and administration systems.
  • Previous experience in outreach and marketing.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complaints and conflicts effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Good financial management skills with budgetary experience.
  • Proactive and able to identify areas for improvement.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work across multiple sites.
  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently to high standards.

Desirable:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including social media platforms and website management.
  • Experience in the charity sector.
  • Knowledge of sailing/watersports.
  • Experience working with diverse staff, volunteers, and customers in a non-profit setting.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a meaningful mission to support young people and their families.
  • Work in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Engage with the local community and make a tangible impact.
  • Opportunities for personal and professional development.
