Senior Programme Manager - Maternity Cover

Are you ready to help small business leaders enhance their business and improve their impact on their people, places and planet? Heart of the City is seeking a Senior Programme Manger maternity cover to oversee the strategy, delivery and growth of our ground-breaking and award-winning Foundations for Responsible Business programme, which has helped thousands of small businesses to make a difference to society and the environment.

Joining the charity at an exciting time of change, you will lead the creation and implementation of high-quality content for the programme, ensuring meaningful engagement that highlights the impact and benefits to the businesses we work with. You will also help contribute to the longer-term thinking of the organisation as it celebrates its 25th anniversary next year, whilst working with the Director and business development team to identify new partners and generate income.

The post-holder will be the key relationship manager with our funders (whether public sector or corporates), along with large business supporters (our Ambassadors) and the small businesses on the programme to deliver a quality service that drives impact in local communities.

As Senior Programme Manager, the post-holder will represent Heart of the City as the subject matter expert at both internal and external events, bringing new ideas and best practice to enhance our programmes, support business development and raise the profile of the charity.
