Main duties

Form a close working relationship with the Marketing and Finance teams

Lead the development and delivery of the Outreach Services strategic plan

Take overall control of the delivery, development and quality standards of the Outreach Services – BeyondAutism Fast Responder®, Outreach and Training Meet sales targets

Ensure that the Outreach Services impact measures are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth

Take a lead role in the promotion of BeyondAutism’s Outreach Services Development and strategy

Develop and deliver the Outreach Services strategic plan in line with the organisational strategic objectives

Market and stakeholder analysis – contribution to and evaluation of options as charity develops, monitor progress

Manage the resolution of Outreach Services’ customer complaints and concerns, increasing the positive reputation and profile of BeyondAutism

The Health Information team work to inform and engage the public with information on cancer prevention, early diagnosis and screening. We do this using evidence and look for opportunities to reach those who need it most. We use our knowledge and communications expertise to guide and shape activity across the charity including policy, partnerships and fundraising.

What will I be doing?

• Oversee the provision of high quality, accessible and evidence-based health information including maintaining a good understanding of best practice

• Provide strategic direction for CRUK's health information priority topics to maximise impact across public facing channels including but not limited to health marketing, communications and partnerships

• Act as a senior subject matter expert on health information and use of evidence, advising senior internal and external stakeholders (Executive Board, other charities, researchers)

• Act as a senior media spokesperson and provide expert sign-off for health information content used in a range of external channels (including press and policy influencing)

• Provide functional leadership to the health information team, ensuring that their time is prioritised effectively to focus on the areas of greatest impact - including balancing proactive workload and support for other teams.

• Responsible for managing the team budgets to ensure activity and services are delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

• Build effective relationships with other evidence teams and policy to minimise duplication of effort, ensure consistency of messaging, and maximise our impact on a range of topics in support of CRUK and PIC's wider influencing and engagement strategy

What skills are we looking for?

As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.

The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.

You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.

Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.

The Role

As a key member of the Institute’s growing nature team, you will be working specifically international nature markets. You will be working on a funded project of work, to support COP15 signatories to understand and implement models and markets that unlock private sector capital into nature restoration and conservation and help them meet their Target 19 commitments. This role will be part of a three-person team within the broader nature team.

You will gain exposure to a range of stakeholders including policy makers, project developers and the private sector across multiple countries. Your responsibilities will include organising stakeholder convening, undertaking research and analysis, developing content, and managing sub-projects autonomously.

Collaboration with industry, government, civil society and academia internationally is a key element of this role and we are looking for team members who will thrive in a dynamic environment where creative thinking, communication and time management skills are essential.

Associate Director Commercial

Salary: £70 - £80k

Role Type: Fixed term contract 12 months minimum (part or full-time, flexible working)

Role purpose

We are looking for a Commercial Senior Manager / Associate Director to drive the next phase of the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS). The NILS pilot has already lent over £10 million to more than 13,000 financially vulnerable people, demonstrating the positive impact of affordable credit. This is a unique opportunity to lead a multi-million-pound programme through its final stages and oversee its strategic scaling for long-term sustainability.

The scheme is currently funded by HM Treasury, JP Morgan, and Fair4All Finance. We are looking for an experienced senior lead with a background in both commercial delivery and business case development, fluent in working with the public sector, mainstream finance, and civil society to oversee the final stages of the pilot delivery and to take charge of scaling up NILS.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) Programme: Oversee the final delivery phase of the NILS pilot, with the Programme Delivery Manager

· Develop the Business Case: Build the long-term commercial model and business case for NILS, identifying sustainable funding solutions and influencing senior stakeholders

· Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key partners

· Scaling and Expansion: Work with financial services providers to expand NILS beyond the pilot

· Product Innovation: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to adapt and improve the NILS product

· Dissemination and Reporting: Share lessons learned from the pilot

· People Management: Lead the Programme Delivery Manager, providing strategic oversight

Beyond NILS

You will also work across other propositions to improve financial resilience for over 20 million people in the UK. This will include testing new products and services designed to meet the needs of financially vulnerable individuals.

About you

You will have a strong background in financial services, commercial delivery, and business case development, with proven experience leading large, multi-stakeholder programmes.

Essential Experience and Skills

· Extensive experience in stakeholder management

· Strong background in financial services, particularly consumer-facing products and their commercial delivery

· Expertise in business case development and commercial modelling for social impact initiatives

· Fluency in contractual management and supplier management

· Experience collaborating with investment professionals and structuring financial services that require lending capital

· People management experience

Desirable Experience

· Experience working with the public sector or civil service and an understanding of state aid / subsidy and procurement considerations

The charity supports individuals with mobility challenges to live a full life. The Head of Fundraising will focus on developing and expanding their portfolio of individual donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partners. This is also a great role for someone looking to step up into a Head of role for the first time.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the strategy, a small team and the stewardship and re-engagement of the charity’s current portfolio of high-value individual donors, trusts and corporate partners. You’ll also work directly with Programme Managers to create compelling new funding proposals to pitch to new partners.

To be successful in the Head of Fundraising role, you’ll need:

• Experience managing a relationships with high-networth-individuals, corporates and trusts and foundations, taking a relationship-led approach.
• Experience of researching new prospective donors and writing and pitching of funding proposals.
• Ability to work proactively and independently to drive growth in an organisation

Summary of What We’re Looking For:

• Substantial experience in leading programmes and funding functions, within a relevant not-for-profit setting (eg hospital or healthcare charity).

• Proven ability in managing and reporting the impact of charitable programmes to senior stakeholders and boards / committees.

• Deep understanding of the healthcare context, including political context, research and innovation environments, partnered with an understanding of the charity landscape.

• Strong strategic thinking with excellent leadership skills and experience in managing and developing others.

• Educated to at least degree level in a relevant field (such as biomedical science) or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and synthesise technical medical information to specialists and non-specialists.

The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in biomedical sciences or a related field, complemented by proven experience in enhancing Programme and Funding operations within a relevant organisation. They would also demonstrate a track record of contributing to organisational strategy.
