This is a truly exciting time to be joining Fauna & Flora’s Fundraising Team. Over the past three years we have established a fundraising programme that is going from strength to strength. More people than ever are choosing to support our work, and as a result our donor base is rapidly growing.
The focus on nurturing relationships with these donors and providing an excellent experience is a strategic priority. We are seeking an individual with excellent supporter care skills who can help us to build excellent relationships with our supporters and has a real affinity with the work that we do. Your role will involve responding to supporter requests, questions and queries from a range of communication channels, including email and phone, helping to deliver a first-class supporter experience. This frontline role is contributing to the development of the fundraising team to reach unrestricted income targets.
You will report directly to the Director of Supporter Marketing, and work closely with the Database team on a range of activities.
You will have excellent customer service skills and previous experience in a similar role. You will be well organised with meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills. As our Donations Assistant it's your responsibility to process all online charity donations and trading arm payments. We are looking for competent leader, ideally with experience of risk and physical challenge, and strong administrative skills, who is comfortable working with schools. He/she will be keen to work with a growing charity, and to support young people usually with a poverty of experience and opportunity.

The Role
Sitting within the Discipleship and Social Justice team, this role provides support to three diverse and exciting areas of Church of England parish ministry. Generous Giving helps parishes to raise finances to fund their mission and ministry, Social Justice enables churches to practice their faith by supporting their communities, and Environment ensures that churches are able to make informed choices to reduce their carbon footprint and promote biodiversity.
You will enable these areas by supporting the parish advisers, through communicating with church volunteers, providing resources, and organising/recording project engagement and training.
Reporting to the Generous Giving Adviser, you will be supported in managing their workload. However, as you will be working with three advisers and various stakeholders, you must be able to proactively manage your time and negotiate timescales. Engaging with a diverse broad range of volunteers and clergy across the Diocese, you must have a proven track record of delivering positive customer support.
There are two working pattern options available for this role: Option 1 allows you to work Monday through Thursday, and Option 2 allows you to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
About You
You do not need to be a practising Christian or have a faith to work here - around 50% of staff are not practising Christians but are comfortable with the Christian ethos that underpins the work. However, all our staff do have a desire to make a difference.
We are seeking a motivated individual with proven IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams), contact database management, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. You will have previous administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while prioritising tasks and handling sensitive and confidential information.
You will be an effective team player with a service-focused attitude, self-motivation, organisation skills, and a proactive approach. Understanding and empathy with the Church of England's work are also essential. Corporate Fundraising Officer
Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne (Benton)
Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience
Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter helps thousands of lost, unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned animals every year, reuniting lost animals with their owners and finding loving new homes for those no longer wanted. Their objective is the promotion of kindness and prevention of cruelty to animals.
About the role:
The Corporate Fundraising Officer will be instrumental in generating income and in-kind support from local businesses and corporate partners. You'll be given the opportunity to develop and manage corporate partnerships, manage two events, attract corporate volunteers, and promote fundraising initiatives. Alongside the Fundraising and Marketing Manager, you'll be involved in co-ordinating and delivering a corporate fundraising plan and will help the shelter achieve their fundraising strategy.

The Corporate Fundraising Officer will also:
- Focus on building long-term corporate relationships and maximising income across multiple areas of the fundraising mix.
- Develop tailored sponsorship packages for businesses, offering opportunities to support specific initiatives, events, or materials.
- Attract and manage in-kind support from businesses, securing donations of goods, services, and equipment that benefit the Shelter's operations and reduce costs.
- Manage the shelter's two corporate events, including planning, execution, and follow-up to maximize income and exposure for the shelter.
About You:
We are looking for a strong relationship builder who has experience in fundraising or business development. You'll have a track record of achieving targets and developing fruitful relationships. You'll be an expert communicator who can create persuasive proposals and presentations, with a creative and proactive approach to securing fundraising opportunities.

The Children and Young People's Psychological Training programmes (CYP-PT) (formerly CYP-IAPT) is a service transformation programme delivered by NHS England that aims to improve existing children and young people's mental health Services (CYP-PTs) working in the community.
As part of this initiative, Centre 33 is looking to recruit two trainee ‘Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioners’ (CWP) to join our existing team based within the ‘Someone to Talk to’ service.
As a trainee CWP you will deliver brief, evidence-based, goal focused interventions to support young people aged 13-25 experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. You will provide some ‘Guided Self Help’ interventions to support parents of younger children aged 5 -12 who experience anxiety and behavioural difficulties. You will deliver support in a variety of ways including both 121 and group work, workshops and webinars. Our blended offer at Centre 33 means you will be expected to work face to face and remotely via telephone and zoom depending on individual client needs.
You will study part-time for the ‘Child and Young Persons Psychological Wellbeing Practice: Post Graduate Diploma ’ through University College London and the Anna Freud Centre for Children and Families. Your remaining hours will be spent working within our busy service, applying and developing the skills and knowledge you acquire in training to our client base.
You will be based across either our north (Peterborough/Wisbech/Huntington) or South (Ely/Cambridge) and will be required to travel for the purposes of study and client work where needed.
**You will have a minimum of a second-class Bachelor’s degree from a UK University (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (e.g Psychology) and evidenced experience of working with young people. IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.
We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.
IKWRO also provides training for women and girls to help them understand their rights in the UK. In partnership with other organisations, we assist survivors of abuse with accessing English language classes and education, training and employment opportunities. As well as supporting women and girls directly, we offer advice and training for professionals from the statutory and voluntary sectors, to better understand the needs of the women and girls we represent, the types of abuse they experience and to provide best practice prevention and support services.
We campaign to increase awareness and improve laws and policies to tackle all forms of “honour” based abuse and harmful practices including; forced marriage, child marriage, marital captivity, female genital mutilation, virginity testing and hymenoplasty, discrimination by sharia courts and to push for better laws and policies toprotect women’s and girl’s rights.
