The Talent Set is delighted to be partnering with the MCC Foundation (MCCF) in their search for a Fundraising & Database Officer. The MCCF is the charitable arm of Marylebone Cricket Club, the world’s most renowned cricket club and owner of the prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The Foundation works in the UK and across the world to provide life-changing opportunities for young people to empower them to reach their full potential in the game of cricket, to bring together communities and to promote physical and mental wellbeing.
Following the appointment of their brilliant Development Director in 2024 and the launch of their five-year strategy last year, they are expanding and developing the fundraising team by adding two brand new roles to support their ambitious plans to drive income generation and diversification. The current programme has seen great success raising funds from high value sources and last year the team generated £1.7million, with a solid pipeline for the coming year to generate £2million.
As Fundraising & Database Officer you will play a key role in supporting the fundraising team and lead on database management, MCCF’s Friend Giving Scheme and the identification and prospecting of new supporters.
The Role:
· Work across the fundraising team to provide administrative support to the Development Director and Philanthropy Manager
· Lead on managing the database (SalesForce) to capture donor information and keep it up to date so it can be effectively used to analyse and report on fundraising activities and opportunities
· Collaborate with the team to write compelling applications and reports for donors
· Identify and research potential donors to support MCCF, particularly high-net-worth individuals, corporate partners and trusts and foundations
· Lead on and manage the Friends Giving Scheme, providing quality stewardship to donors
· Support the delivery and organisation of cultivation and engagement events
· Work closely with fundraising and senior management colleagues to collectively meet strategic targets and assist on ad hoc tasks as needed
About You:
· An enthusiastic and proactive individual with experience in a fundraising or administrative role
· A great understanding of and proficiency in using a database, SalesForce experience would be beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to engage with stakeholders confidently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· A team player with a collaborative approach to getting involved and supporting across a small team as required

What is a Team Lead for Finance, Benefits & Resettlement?
Our Finance, Benefits and Resettlement team focuses on empowering women and overcoming barriers to clients living with, fleeing from or who have experienced domestic abuse or other disadvantages. These barriers include finances, benefits, budgeting and housing.
As Team Lead, you will be responsible for a small team of key-workers as well as holding a caseload of clients yourself. Your team will be supporting clients who are living with or who have experienced domestic abuse, you will therefore be able to risk assess and safety plan as well as have an excellent understanding of safeguarding protocols. You will support your staff with their caseloads as well as completing regular case management and supervision with each staff member.
You will be responsible for developing the service, with the voice of our clients at the heart of everything we do and always work in a trauma-informed way. You will be responsible for developing excellent multi-agency relationships and expected to network effectively.
We work with women who have experienced multiple disadvantages, for example, historic domestic abuse, mental ill health, poverty and other traumas.
You will have experience of working with these women and be non-judgmental and trauma-informed at all times.
You will have a passion to see women’s lives transformed.
Ideally, candidates should have:
- Educated to ‘Degree’ level or equivalent
- Be a Qualified IDVA or committed to attaining the qualification within the first year of your employment in this role.
- At least two years’ experience working with women who have experienced multiple disadvantages

The reserve is located on Holy Island, near Holyhead on Anglesey, and features a rich variety of habitats, including heathland, farmland, cliffs, coastline, and ocean. At certain times of the year, non-breeding flocks of up to 30 choughs can also be spotted. To support these birds, we actively manage the lowland coastal heathland and farmland to maintain optimal nesting and feeding conditions.
As a member of the South Stack team, you’ll work alongside passionate staff and volunteers to welcome visitors, share the conservation significance of this remarkable reserve, and inspire support for the charity through fundraising and membership recruitment.

About Five Talents
Since we began, Five Talents has supported over 290,000 families globally to grow their incomes and provide for their families. We work in partnership with local organisations in east and central Africa to set up Savings Groups through which members can take small loans. Alongside Savings Group development, members also participate in literacy, numeracy, money management and business skills training. Consequently, members develop small businesses enabling families to send their children to school, visit the clinic when they are sick and become more resilient to crises such as drought or Coronavirus. About this role
We are looking for someone who is passionate about international development to join our small Five Talents team to help us achieve our ambitious goals, and particularly to support our Trusts Fundraising team.

Job Description
The post-holder will support the work of all the UK Team (currently 9 staff), but will predominantly work within the Trusts & Foundations Team to identify and research funding prospects; draft grant applications and reports; and maintain our fundraising pipeline and key funder relationships. In addition to this, the post-holder will support CRM and donor-care administration as well as bringing their own initiative and ideas to raise the charity’s profile.
Role Responsibilities
Fundraising: Supporting the Trusts & Foundations cycle (80%)
Working with the Director of Trusts Fundraising you will:

Draft high quality, persuasive applications to grant-makers.
-
Draft high quality reports for grant-makers and other donors. This will include liaising with in-country Programme Teams and the Global Programme Team to ensure accurate data is used to inform existing and potential donors.

Identify and research new opportunities for funding partnerships with trusts and foundations and other potential new donors / partners.
-
Build long-term relationships with new and existing trusts and foundations representatives to ensure their objectives are met.
-
Write reports for funding, including supporting the major donor team as required.

Creating tailored thank you/grant acknowledgement letters for the T&F Team.

Maintaining accurate records of T&F’s and their donations on Salesforce.
Administrative support (20%)
Working with the senior leaders, you will assist with:

Managing the Salesforce CRM database, logging donations and running reports when required.

Working with the comms team to ensure donors are thanked promptly.

Ensuring the smooth running of the office, including for example supporting logistics for events and overseas trips, and other tasks and projects which from time to time need action, bearing in mind the flexibility needed in a small team in a growing organisation.

About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administration and Finance Assistant to join our team. You will work with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure payroll, invoicing and finance tasks are completed and with the wider team on administrative support.
Key Responsibilies:
Finance (estimated 60% of work hours)
- Working under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and external accounting team, and using the Xero finance system to;
- Prepare, send, and chase invoices through co-ordinating with wider team members

Ensuring the smooth running of CSH operations including:
- Setting up regular team meetings
- HR systems administration – Keeping track of staff holidays, sick leave. Updating and maintenance of staff details and HR folders
- Helping with recruitment admin including filing applications, sending replies and responding to queries
- Organising office days once a month- booking venues, catering and technical support
- Timely management of CSH general inbox and phoneline, ensuring there is holiday cover in place when needed

Women and Girls Network’s (WGN) Administration & Bookings Officers (ABO) have day-to-day responsibility for coordinating the bookings for all of our clinical services. They contribute towards the delivery of high-quality therapeutic work through the provision of an empathetic, efficient and comprehensive service, ensuring that all referral / booking related matters are administered effectively.
