CISV International are looking for an experienced administrator to join the Risk Management and Safeguarding team as the Risk Management Support Officer.

The role will focus on supporting the International Risk Management and Safeguarding Lead and the Safeguarding Support Officer to handle the smooth running of the department as well as to help develop the Risk Management provision for our global members.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading on Risk Management administration projects
• Being the gatekeeper for the incident case management system, ensuring all reports and evidence are logged appropriately
• Helping to ensure volunteers comply with training requirements and supporting the development of training resources including online training packages
• Analysing data and statistics to assess seasonal performance of programmes and events
• Using standard Microsoft Office software to produce accurate reports and spreadsheets                               

We are looking for someone who is experienced and enthusiastic about joining an exciting, international organisation. You will need to be sensitive to working with people from different cultures all around the world. An understanding of working with volunteers would also be of benefit. River Church Ipswich is an HTB Network church plant in the town centre of Ipswich, which launched in September 2021 and has already grown quickly into a thriving resource church, with a congregation of more than 200, and three Sunday services.

Key Responsibilities

Website

• Responsibility for maintenance and development of Resurgo’s website, delivering engaging content with a focus on dynamic visuals and videos, tailored to our different website audiences.
• Optimise user journeys across all Resurgo’s digital channels.

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective.

Oversight of Spear Programme Spear

Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions and a 1:1 with each trainee per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there.

• As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
• Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Assistant Coach.
• Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education

Line management and training

• Manage the Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
• Be line managed by River Church staff, locally, and by Resurgo, nationally, to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPI.

Supporting River Church’s mission and ministry

• You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help the Assistant coaches to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.
• Ensuring the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church
• Work with the Head of Operations and Fundraising Assistant to prepare successful grant funding applications for Spear Ipswich, and provide timely grant reporting.
• Attend and participate in Staff Meeting, Tuesday morning Prayer Meeting, and Sunday Services (serving on a team at one or more Sunday service) • Regularly pray for Spear, River Church, and in particular our Social Transformation work.
• Attending other River Church events and services, occasionally speaking and/or contributing as required • Ad hoc tasks and other project work.

Ormiston Families work with CYP aged 5-13 with mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing needs

We are seeking candidates who are dedicated to improving services and want to make a positive difference for children and young people. You will provide short-term therapeutic interventions for children with mild to moderate mental health issues, offering a blend of face to face and online counselling sessions. 

You will join a supportive team where clinical supervision is provided. We are also very keen to develop our service as a provider of high-quality trainee counsellor placements. We are also committed to the ‘Single Sessions Thinking’ model and training will be provided as this has proved to be very successful.

Successful candidates will:

• Be a qualified counsellor and BACP registered. 
• Have a good understanding of the needs of children, young people and their families aged 5-12. 
• Have significant (minimum 12 months) post-qualification experience working with this age group. 
• Have A good understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to keeping CYP safe.

The main office is in March, Cambridgeshire but successful candidates will work from home, with most counselling sessions undertaken in schools. An ability to travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is essential.

The Role

As Trust Fundraising Manager you will secure new funding opportunities and work on a pool of warm and cold charitable Trusts with a focus on the £10,000 to £40,000 range.  The role involves researching and qualifying prospects, submitting high quality funding applications and stewarding existing donors effectively. It will also involve managing reporting deadlines and matching potential donors to projects needing to be fundraised for, collaborating with our Service Teams. 

You will prepare applications and reports to trusts and foundations, in line with funder deadlines, keeping in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and face to face. You will match potential donors with projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach.

The person

You will have experience of: Securing funding from Trusts with excellent writing and presentation skills; Solid prospect research skills to identify new funding opportunities and maintain a forward pipeline of applications; Of working collaboratively with Service Teams to package and cost project areas; Stewardship of warm funders including preparing donor reports, reviewing financial reports and gathering case studies. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

Purpose of the role:
The Family Engagement Coordinator is vital to the success of the WellChild Family Tree Network. This is a growing network
that exists to connect families across the UK caring for a child with serious and complex medical needs with each other
and with WellChild. Through its online Facebook forum, and programme of activities, events and communications, it
provides members with the opportunity to make friends, make memories and get support.

Working within the Family Team and as part of the wider Programmes team this role will report to the Family Programme
Manager and is central to the development and expansion of the WellChild Family Tree. Key to this role is taking ownership
of and delivering a well-defined WellChild Family Tree membership experience that attracts and engages families from

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to join our NGAGE Young People’s Service in Northampton. NGAGE is an early intervention drug and alcohol service for young people aged 10-18 and we provide information, education, advice and support to young people in relation to drug and alcohol use.

Your challenge? To provide advice, assessments, brief and structured interventions and group programmes. As a Practitioner, you will be the initial contact for referrals into the service, conducting assessments via telephone, face to face and offering relevant and appropriate advice, harm minimisation, family interventions risk assessment and management, actioning onward referrals to partner agencies. You will also be required to manage a caseload.

An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. As well as good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health related issues, you're used to liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and comfortable engaging with clients in a variety of service delivery settings. Purpose of the job

Working across the Network Delivery Department, you will support the efficient day today administration and co-ordination of the teams. You will play a critical role providingadministrative and co-ordination support for the Network Delivery Department ensuringwe have strong processes and ways of working to deliver our ambitious goals.

Experience we're after

• Experience of providing administrative support to senior staff members

• Experience of working in an office environment  

• Experience of dealing with sensitive information

• Experience of coordinating a busy schedule of activity and keeping key stakeholders informed of progress

• Experience of using data management/ CRM systems and maintaining a high standard of data.

**Please note that this opportunity is a Fixed Term Contract until March 31st 2025 and not a permanent role at present.

You will work with young people between the age of 17-25 with needs related to substance misuse, including those that are affected by their parent’s substance misuse. The purpose of the role is to engage young people in a variety of interventions, using a young person centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.

Based in the Transitions team  you will support young people with multiple risk factors and substance use. Our Complex Needs Practitioners work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health, social care, education and criminal justice.

A core part of the role will be working with young people and their families to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the young person’s wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to homelessness, family work, exploitation, physical and emotional health as well as substance misuse.

An energetic and confident self-starter, you have proven experience within health and social care, particularly working with young people and supporting them through mental ill health.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.
